December has almost arrived! This is officially the last month to storm retail in the run-up to Christmas. If your customers havent started thinking about Christmas yet, they certainly will now. Christmas trees are already up, jingle bells can be heard in the air and turkeys everywhere are getting seriously nervous. Now is the time to put in some solid work to make the most out of this period, but possibly more importantly to build a sturdy basis to successfully launch your businesses into the New Year and beyond. If youre pushing for Cape Town, this month could see you work on securing your place. Our television campaign will be back on TV screens from 17 December. Its the perfect base on which to build up a great new customer base. In order to brand your business effectively in line with the advert, everything that comes in contact with your customers and prospects must clearly define your message. That means your business cards, advertisements, and website, even how your phone is answered it should all support your brand. Remember, the advert on its own is not enough to build brand recognition only maintaining consistency and repetition will. We were so excited when we received a lead from the television advert. We delivered the catalogue and received an order for 25. Then we decided to blanket drop a neighbouring street which had 33 houses. From this drop we had one customer hand back the catalogue, 31 customers look, and 13 new customers placing orders to the value of 186. Fabulous addition to our customer base and we cant wait to see how many new customers we get this period. I just wanted to write to tell you what you already know - how amazing Kleeneze is! I had a call yesterday, as Im sure many other Distributors did in our area, to say that due to the terrible flooding and weather we have had to contend with in Cumbria over the last week, I am to receive a free Retail Kit! What an amazing gesture? How many companies do you know of that give their teams that kind of support? In contrast, I also work for a major retail company and their attitude last week was markedly different. The concern being, how to keep the stores running by calling staff again and again to ask them when and how soon they could get through blocked roads and flooded rivers to get to work. Then expecting the staff that did make it in to work to do double shifts without the pay (time in lieu!?). So to anyone new out there who isnt yet aware of what you have your hands on - Kleeneze is head and shoulders above any other company for the support it gives to its people. We will be unable to make any sales adjustments after period end.

TIPS FROM THE TOP


Our biggest tip is to give your customers a Christmas card now! Tell them you will be back only one more time before Christmas, saying: Oh, by the way here is a card from myself and [insert partners name], thank you for your support over the year. This should ensure you have a good order next time you pick up the catalogue. Mike and Amanda Bibby, Silver Premier Executive Distributors From now on you will probably be dropping your catalogues for the last time to your customer base so make sure that you put one of the Last Christmas Orders tickets in with the Catalogues, we have found from past experience that they do encourage customers to put bigger orders in. Diane and Geoff Owen, Gold Executive Distributors Personally shop. You will no doubt be purchasing many Christmas items yourself order them sooner, rather than later. This will ensure that you have a good display to do a Christmas preview evening at home. Simply invite lots of friends, neighbours, relations and customers and in addition to a super Christmas display, give everyone a Christmas catalogue to look at and point out items not on your display. Obviously the bigger the display you have the more you will sell. By having 12 to 15 people there you should sell a reasonable amount of goods in a short space of time.
