Terms & Conditions:

1-The Truck Detention will be applicable if the truck is standing at Chaman/Spin Boldak/Kandahar Customs due to incomplete paper work from Shipper or Consignee. That will be documented and presented as proof for applicable truck detention. 2-Truck detention will be added as additional in case of ANY delay (whatever reason unless its DAMCOs fault) @ USD 100 per day per vehicle. 3-In case of any delay, if truck stand at Afghan Gumrak Torkham then USD 120 per day per truck will be charged by the Afghan customs officials. 4-Truck detention free time at port (loading point) is 24 Hours & free time at destination (delivery point) is 24 Hours. 5-The Truck Detention will also be applicable in case of delay in off-loading at Consignee's warehouse. 6-In case of non-registration of consignee in Afghan Customs/Afghan Ministries, DAMCO will not be responsible for it & the Truck Detention will be charged. 7-DAMCO Pakistan will not be liable for incurrence of any additional Port Charges, Demurrages and Detention etc due to incorrect or delayed Paper work. 8-Off-loading at destination is consignee's responsibility. 9-Container security deposit to be arranged by shipper/consignee except Maersk Line/Safmarine. DAMCO PK will not outlay this amount if required. 10-DAMCO Pakistan will not be liable for loss, damage, theft due to force majeure, weather conditions, acts of god or any other unforeseen circumstances. 11-Rates are subject to the prevailing law & order situation, NLC Tariff and Increase in fuel prices. The rates wil be revised accordingly. 12-Rates are based on quoted Truck Tonnage including tare weight and in case of overweight, USD 50/MT will be charged. 13-Additional charges for empty pick up from Destination to Karachi will apply in case, container will not return on the same trailer. 14-GPS Tracking service is available and can be provided upon request which will be charged separately.

Required Documents:

Following documents are required as soon as possible after vessel sailing from the origin before shipment arrival at Karachi. Delay in provision of documents will increase the transit time charges & possible port storage/container detention. For Custom Clearance in Karachi:1. Original B/L or SWB. 2. Commercial invoice & packing list 3. MEMO from the US Military and clearance letter from the US Consulate, Karachi. 4. Email confirmation to US Consulate, Karachi from US Embassy, Kabul. For Custom Clearance & Tax Exemption Certificate processing in Afghanistan:1. Original B/L or Original SWB 2. Original commercial invoice & packing list
