WILD ABERRATIONS

Character Generation
Points
Character generation is done with 250 points in two phases. Baseline Phase The character must spend at least 100 point of their 250 in this phase and buy skills and stats at the normal cost. Powers, HD and MD are not available in this phase but ED can be purchased at the normal cost of a HD (so you may well want to wait until the Nova Phase and bus HD instead). Costs Stat dice: 5 Skill dice: o Normal: 2 o Expert: 4 Background: 1 Nova Phase Any points left over from the baseline phase are spent in this phase and can be spent at nova costs (one point cheaper for everything). Powers, HD and MD are all available in this phase. Stat dice: 4 o Normal: o Hard: o Mega: Skill dice: o Normal: o Hard: o Mega: Powers: (varied) Background:

Taint (Quantum Backlash Disorder)

A character can start with points of permanent taint and if they do so they get an additional 10 points per point of taint. If a characters taint is greater than three at the start of the game then they must pick an aberration for each point of taint above three. Taint Level 4-5 6-7 9-10 Aberration Level Low Medium High Social Penalty 1 2 3

In addition, having taint over level 3 causes a degree of unease in baseline humans and as a result tainted characters suffer a dice penalty when they exceed three points of taint.
