org/wiki/Muammar_al-Gaddafi Gaddafi has been the leader of Libya since a coup in 1969. But with the current uprising against him, one wondershas his time come to an end? Jyotish definitely seems to suggest this. Muammar al-Gaddafi was born on 7 June, 1942. While we dont have the time of his birth, we can look at the current transits to get an understanding. When we analyse this, we find: I. Sani, the karaka for frustration, is transiting a trine from janma Surya, the karaka for government. Note that Surya in Gaddafis chart is at the 22nd degree of Vrishaba, while Vakra Sani is now transiting the 22nd degree of Kanya. It is also interesting to note that Sani in Gaddafis chart is in the 10th degree of Vrishaba, while Surya is in a Kendra now by transiting the 10th degree of Kumbha. II. Kuja, the karaka for aggression, is transiting a trine from janma Guru, the karaka for support of nature. Kuja is at the 6th degree of Kumbha now, while in Gaddafis chart, Guru is in the 6th degree of Mithuna. III. Ketu, karaka for intrigues is transiting over janma Guru. Ketu is in the 6th degree of Mithuna now, just over janma Guru, who was in the 6th degree of Mituna when Gaddafi was born.

All these things dont seem to augur well for Gaddafi staying in power for long. In fact, on March 1st, Ketu will be just before janma Guru in 06-mith-17 and on March 2nd, it will cross over janma Guru and be in 06-mith-09. This may well prove to be a crucial period for him, especially since Guru is the lord of the 1st and the 10th from Chandra in the birth chart and both these houses rule status in society.
