My presentation will be about energy sources we can use in future as alternative to fossil fuels.

(Next slide) The big problem is big numbers. The world use some 320 kilowatt- hours a day. Its equal about 22 bulbs burning nonstop for every person in planet. However its estimate that in next century humanitarian use three times ass much. (Diagram) (Next slide) Fossil fuels have met the growing demand. Oil is king but its no longer cheap and after few decades it will run out. In diagram shows the number of newly discovered oil sites. As you see their numbers drastically decrease. So it means that there are no new reserves and soon the existing resources will be depleted. That means Future depends on finding hire. (Next slide) One option is to keep relying on dirty fossil resources and produce oil from tar sands biodiesel, coal. But other option is to search for better alternatives. Is there such a source. Short answer be no. But long answer about next fuel is not o bad. In fact plenty of alternatives are already at hand: wind. Solar, nuclear, tidal, geothermal. My answer consist of three parts. Things that available, thing that recent available and future perspective things. First about resources, which exit quite some time like wind, solar, biomass. (Next slide) As first look solar energy. Solar electric system catches energy directly from sun. The sun- no fire, no emission. For now solar power mostly means solar panels. Today these solar systems power everything from small homes to large office buildings. As main problem is mentioned its price. Solar systems price are much higher than other resource prices. But if we look in history from 1980 technological improvements have made solar system from cosmic program to home use and much less expensive. If government fund their technology then their will get cheaper and cheaper. (diagram) However this resource can only be used in very restricted area. The reason are cloudiness. And second thing is place factor. Solar panel use very big size of land. But still with proper budget scientist will be able to come up with some idea. (Next slide) Ultimately wind is created by sun warmed air movements. So it is jut another way of collecting sun powers, but it work on cloudy day too. As you see in picture in past few years wind power popularity has increased. Win is currently the biggest success story of renewable energy. Some countries as Denmark get 20 % of electricity by using wind turbines. Europe is leading continent in wind usage. It power is equal to 35 coal plants

Bad points are that not all places are suitable and windy enough. But scientist are working on it they just need more funding. (Next slide) The last of already available energy is nuclear energy. Nuclear energy is important resource of energy in today. Worldwide about 440 plants now generate 16% of planet electric power. And some countries have gone heavily nuclear. As France. More than 70 plants are under construction as we speak. Benefit of nuclear energy is that it is environmentally friendly. Nuclear energy had possible lowest impact on the environment. Because nuclear do not emit harmful emission and nuclear plants are so green that around them grow green plant and lives human. The main lowing factor fear. Many peoples are still afraid about safety of those plants after accident in Chernobyl. Since then have been made many safety precaution. No energy source is without its problem, but plants have impressive safety record. You can sees compartment of three resources in new York by the size they use. An effective factor is most higher in nuclear plant. The future of plants depend whether the countries worldwide declare it as a risk or benefit. (Next slide) Without the energy resources exist ome which, are newly and still diskutable. But one they they culd become as alternative. Hydrogen could power cars of nonpolluting tomorrow. Produced when two atmos fuse into one. There are massive of amount created. Hot fusion is difficult, cause the fuel is a kind of hydrogen, has to be heated 100 million degree of celsium. At this temperature hydrogen forms into stuff called plasma. Plasma is most common universe matter but also most chaotic and least controlled. Till many scientists are 100% sure about success. There is only one force tougher than plasma and it I politics. After all we can see that exist many alternatives from many is quite good.
