Developers of Wise_SMA2PDF & Wise_PSR2PDF utilities to automatically convert SMART PLANT SMA and PSR files to PDF files, running as a background service. SPI/INtools consultants with 14 years experience implementing SPI/INtools, data transfer, consulting, training and data entry.
INAudit Overview
Why Audit?
Deliver a high quality database to your clients. Incomplete and inaccurate data is a hidden cost both in engineering and plant maintenance. Inaccurate and missing data is a safety risk. A cost effective way to reduce this is with a versatile auditing program that can be customized to meet your standards.
INAudit Overview
Types of SPI/INtools Audits?
Complete audits of the SPI/INtools database. Pre-Merge audits to determine the impact of the merge. Upgrade audits to ensure no data loss or corruption caused by the upgrade. Complete Instrumentation audit of the SPI/INtools, P&IDS and control system.
INAudit Overview
INAudit-The tool that every SPI/INtools installation needs whether you are an EPC or Owner/operator. Reduces your administration costs and improves data quality. INAudit is a web based application designed for all SPI/INtools users and project managers. Easy access through your IE browser. No user passwords required, all data is secure in read-only.
INAudit Overview
Built in Administrators configuration tool that interrogates your SPI/INtools database enabling the administrator to define auditing rules and exceptions (INAConfig). Reports on a count basis with an option to view a detailed listing. Reports on % complete for designated data fields with an overall % complete, and listing of incomplete fields by tag. Selectable levels to audit: Plant, Area or an individual Unit
INAudit Overview
Additional auditing for the Operator Owner database: Checks the project for deleted As-Built data, new data added and changed service descriptions. Compatible with SPI/Intools 6.x, 7.x, 2007 (8.x), and 2009 (9.x). Does not require an SPI/INtools license or SPI/INtools to be running or installed, just a connection to the SPI/INtools database (Oracle, MS SQL or Watcom).
INAudit Overview
Easy access to the SPI/INtools Plant, Area and Unit structure. Audit at the Plant, Area or Unit level.
Calgary Refinery
INAudit Overview
Main INAudit Modules window showing the High Level Filter is CWP Number (Construction Work Package Number.) Note: The High Level Filter field is optional , can be any UDF or UDT. Example: Project Number, Module Number
Select any list option, example: Minimum Data Fields Report, Tags with Incorrect Service Descriptions
Check for Uppercase, Min. and Max. length, and disallowed characters.
Tag instrument types that are linked to a different instrument type in the database.
The INAudit administrator defines the instrument types with hard I/O that do NOT get assigned to a Specification/Datasheet as an exception list.
You can audit for just the process data required on datasheets.
Identify tags that are not assigned to the process module (i.e. have no Process Data) select one Process Function or all.
Tags that are not assigned to the process module - have no Process Data.
Define the Process fields to audit. Example: Only audit the specification/datasheet Process Data fields.

INAConfig
A utility used to configure the rules and exceptions for INAudit when auditing your SPI database.
INAConfig
Main Menu Options: Types and Settings Define the main I/O Types; Hard, Soft, FF, N/A. Define the Minimum Index Data fields that must contain a value. Define the Optional High Level Filter. Select the main Audit Options to disable. Define the rules for the Tag and Loop Service. Min. Length, Max. Length, Upper Case, Disallowed Characters like XX, ; , . # Define Incomplete Revisions for Datasheets, Loops and Panel Strip reports. Min/Max Description, Upper Case, Values in the Date, BY, CHK. APPR fields. Disallowed Characters like IFC, XX, ; , . #
INAConfig
Main Menu Options: Exception Configuration Define the I/O exceptions; example Hard I/O Instrument Types that do not need a Datasheet, example: I/Ps. Define if all tags must have a Loop Number or define the exceptions, example: PSVs. Define Instrument Types that do not require a Line Number, example: FALL, LT or if your standards have no exceptions for the line number field, example: N/A or --- if not applicable. Define if all Instrument Types that must have an Equipment/Manufacturer/Model Number or the exceptions. Define all Instrument Types that must have a PO Number, or the ones that do not require a PO; example: SOFT I/O tags. Define the Instrument Types that do not require Process Data. Define Wire Colour exceptions (Cross wires, Jumpers, Terminators).

Main Menu Options: Entity Check Check for Duplicate Loops. Check for Duplicate Tags. Check for Orphaned Cables . Check for Orphaned Instrument Tags. Check for Orphaned Instrument Types. Check for Orphaned Wiring Panels. NULL Cable Category. NULL Panel Strip Sequences. NULL Channel Area Ids. NULL Channel Sequences. NULL Loop Set Ids.

Datasheet Hard I/O Exceptions by Instrument Types Select the Instrument Types/Hard I/O that do not require a datasheet. Example: instrument type FY = I/P. I/O = AO, does not usually require its own datasheet as it is included on the Control Valve datasheet.
ODBC connection to the SPI/INtools database v6 or higher (2009 v9) Internet Information Server IIS 6 + DOT NET 2.x Certified for Windows Server 2000 and 2003 Does not require an SPI/INtools license INAudit license is linked to the server with unlimited users
