Using Yes No Question forms in daily activities 4. Using WH-questions forms in daily activities 5. Using question tag in daily activities 6. Expressing hobbies and interests I. Learning Objectives By the end of the lesson, the students are able to : tell daily activity use adverb of frequency in telling daily activities use Yes No question in dialogues about daily activities use WH-questions in dialogues about daily activities use question tag in daily activities use gerund on sentences II. Pre- Activities (10 minutes) Greet the students Check the students presence Warming up by asking : What time do you usually get up? What time do you go to school? Do you always get up early? How do you go to school?

Main activities (100 minutes) Tell the students about the objectives of the lesson Speaking and Listening Ask the students to make a list of their daily activities and their familys daily activities. Give examples to make sentences using Simple Present Tense. Ask the students to add his/her friend activities with other information, like time place etc. by asking his/her friend in pairs. Example: What time do you get up/take a bath, etc? Ask the students to tell his/her own daily activities and her/his friends Ask the students to fill in blank spaces of a dialogue and a passage about daily activities. Discuss the difficult words Ask the students to answer the questions based on the texts theyve heard. 3. Post Activities (15 minutes) Make a conclusion of the material which has been learned. Give some homework (Make a paragraph/ passage about your family daily activities)

Second session (2 x 45) Speaking and Writing 1. Pre- Activities (5 minutes) Greet the students

Check the students presence Warming up by asking : Do you always get up early? How do you go to school? 2. Main activities (75 minutes) Tell the students about the objectives of the lesson Give the examples of making Yes No question about daily activities Ask the students to make Yes No question Give the examples of making WH-question about daily activities. Ask the students to make WH-questions Give some exercises about Yes No question and WH-question

3. Post Activities (10 minutes) Make a conclusion of the material which has been learned. Give some homework

Third session (3 x45) Reading 1. Pre- Activities (20 minutes) Greet the students Check the students presence Discus the students homework Warming up by asking : How many times do you eat every day? How many times do you visit your grandparents a week? You always have breakfast , dont you? She never comes late, does she? You love your mother , dont you ? You will never tell a lie, do you? 2. Main activities (100 minutes) Tell the students about the objectives of the lesson Write adverb of frequencies Ask the students to order. Ask the students to make some sentences using adverb of frequencies Ask the students to read a passage about A famous Film Star Ask the student to answer the questions Give the examples of Question Tag Ask the students to do some exercises Check the students answer Give more / further explanation about question tag and the use 3. Post Activities (10 minutes) Make a conclusion of the material which has been learned. Give some homework

Fourth session (2 x 45) Language Focus (Gerunds) 1. Pre- Activities (20 minute) Greet the students Check the students presence Discus the students homework Apperception Ask the students about their hobbies Write the students answer Ask the students about the function of every part of the sentences. 2. Main Activities (60 minutes) Tell the students about the objectives of the lesson Give more sentences Ask the students to analyze the sentences based on S P O Adv. in pair Explain about gerunds as subject, object Give some exercise Discuss the students answer 3. Post Activities (10 minutes) Make a conclusion of the material which has been learned. Give some homework ( The students ask to find some exercises in English in Progress 2) Fifth session (3 x 45 minutes) 1. Pre-activities (15 minutes) Greet the students Check the students presence Discuss the students homework Apperception Ask the students to refresh about gerund as subject and object. 2. Main Activities Tell about the objectives of the lesson Give some more examples of gerunds as complement, subjective complement, and object of preposition. Ask the students to analyze the function of gerund in each sentences Explain about preposition after certain verb or adjective Give exercises Discuss the students answer. 3. Post activities Make conclusion of the lesson Ask the students about the difficulties in learning this lesson Discuss it Sixth session (2 x 45 minutes) This session is used to evaluate.
