First Friday Eucharistic Adoration with Holy Hour

Why not give yourself a spiritual gift? Come to the church on First Friday January 6, 2012 . Eucharistic Adoration will be held starting after the12:10 PM Mass and will conclude with Holy Hour from 8 to 9 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend some quiet time in adoration, reflection and prayer. Everyone is welcome Thank you for signing the attendance book which will be placed on the table at the entrance of the church closest to the rectory.

Help is eeded with Altar Linens

Please consider offering your services. We need help to wash and iron the 1 Jn 5:5-13; Mk 1:7-11 or Lk 3:23-38 altar linens used at Mass during the distribution of Holy Communion. If you or 3:23, 31-34, 36, 38 would like to help, and /or would like more information to make your decision, contact Peggy Clarke at 908-464-9165. Union Catholic Scholarship Exam


The Union Catholic High School Scholarship Exam for the Class of 2016 will be held on Saturday, January 7th at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday, January 8th at 1:00 p.m. There is no make-up for this exam.

As part of our Parishs Mission to help the poor and homeless of Newark through St. Johns, we are requesting the following items: Unwrapped New The fee for this exam is $25.00. Seton Hall Prep Entrance Exam

Seton Hall Prep, grades 912 in West Orange is offering its 4th and final entrance exam on Saturday, January 7th. Scholarships and financial aid are still available.
