Projects: 1. USB Configurator [Main Project] Detect powered and connected boards though USB, List out the current components by accessing flash and reading data. Provide option for selecting new images for downloading to flash and list out their signature, and check if the images selected are fine. Upload selected files and Provision to upload/download the entire raw flash/ binary or data partition. Provision to configure the space for each images .GUI support for the above. 2. Compressed binary Fast Loader Modification to suit the new image, support to make image from JM binaries Write a WinCE daemon service - with stubs and test if it works fine, DMA peripheral setup to invoke transfer to RAM, Decompress and put the files to RAM FS .Modify the KIOSK application to wait for signal to load binaries. Signal the KIOSK application about the availability of application

3. Porting of Linux kernel 2.6.33 (Platform Support Package (PSP) for OMAP35x, The primary objective here is to port a Linux 2.6 stock kernel to the target AM3517 (ARM cortexA8). The new project proposal enables application development in Linux platform. The porting of Linux stock kernel for a target platform consist of various steps such as compiling and installing the Platform Support Packages (PSP), that contain the Xloader, Boot-loader, Linux kernel, Software Development Kit (SDK)

4. File system driver (TrueFFS for Linux) Device driver Modifying flash file system driver to suit with 2.6.3. Configuring driver to corresponding kernel. Makefile modification in File System and Kernel. Patching Driver to suit current version. Also checking to include File System driver as installable module.

PROJECT: CAPACITY PLANNING IN CPU UTILIZATION Project was done by creating a neural network which was trained with past information of cpu utilization. Since it was related with future analysis and for this purpose neural networks are preferred most. MATLAB contains a advanced toolbox in neural networks, so MATLAB was used for implementation.
