( SESSION 2011-2012)
Applications are invited on the prescribed forms for admission to the following programs for Academic Year 2011-12:
Program Institutions Age Limit Minimum Qualification Ineligibilities 3-Year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) Govt. Colleges of Technology / Polytechnic / Monotechnic Institutes i) Maximum 22-Years ( For Regular & Double Shift Evening Programs) ii) Maximum 30 years (For Self-Help Evening Program) Matric (Technical) / Matric (Science) / Intermediate (PreEngineering) OR G-III with Matric (Science) i) Below 45% marks in HSC / SSC / TSC ii) Failing in English / Physics / Chemistry and Maths in TSC / SSC / HSC iii) Overage 2-year Diploma in Commerce (D. Com) Government Institutes of Business & Commercial Education (GIBCEs) Minimum 15-years Maximum 28-Years Matric or Equivalent

List of Institutions / Colleges, where these courses are offered with the disciplines / technologies, are given in the prospectus and can also be seen on the STEVTA Website (www.stevta.gos.pk) ADMISSION PROCESS FOR DAE The Admission Form & Prospectus for DAE may be obtained and submitted between 4 July & 4 August 2011 from any institute on submission of deposit slip for Rs.500/- (including cost of prospectus, admission forms and NTS pre-admission test fee) deposited in any of the branches of Habib Bank Limited or United Bank Limited. The Deposit Slip can be obtained from the institute or printed from STEVTA website (www.stevta.gos.pk). There will be No additional Bank Charges payable by the candidate in addition to Rs.500/-. The Prospectus and Admission form for D.Com may be obtained from and submitted at the respective institute on payment of Rs. 100/- only. There will be No Admission Entry Test for D.Com. Admissions for D.Com will be completed by respective institutes. a) Pre-Admission Entry Test for DAE Pre-admission entry test for DAE will be conducted by National Testing Service (NTS) on Sunday, 14 August, 2011. The test shall be compulsory for all candidates (DAE Morning / Evening). OPEN HOUSE WEEK All institutions offering 3-year DAE and 2-year D.Com, shall remain opened from July 04 to 09, 2011 to welcome prospective candidates and their parents for visiting facilities at the institutions and seek guidance for Admission.
