Project overview Overview aim

iNature is the first project of Danang Local Committee. With the development of technology as well as science, the world is facing a lot of alarming issues. Environmental issue is among the hottest ones. iNature Project, therefore, is established with the purpose of contributing to partly solve this issue and mostly raise awareness of local people, especially students - the young - about environmental issue. Project aims to contribute directly and positively to the development of Vietnamese Youth by helping them realize the real situation around Danang, providing them practical necessary knowledge on Environmental issue such as Waste management, as well as necessary skills of leadership needed today so that they cannot only become responsible Vietnamese citizens but also responsible global citizen in the future. There will be many activities such as: Culture Day, Exhibition, Filed-trips and competition for students in high schools and universities.

Target audience
Primary school/ High school/ University students

Objectives
o Raise awareness of Waste Management issue to Vietnamese students o Make an impact on Vietnam society, especially in Da Nang o Bring different cultures from countries around the world closer to students in Danang.

Goals:
o 5 interns o 1 day-out trip o 4 seminars o 1 culture day o 500 students involved o 200 students educated

Project implementation
Video contest
This online event is held from the middle of January to attract students to the events and concept of iNature project. It will be taken place till the early March.

Day-out trip (Field trip)

This Field-trip involves interns, hosts and a few AIESECers only to let interns know the real situation of Environmental pollution of Danang, and to interact with students from Primary schools at those polluted areas about this issue.

Culture Day
Students in Danang have a chance to know about the cultures in different countries (through interns presentations, or some games) and about the next events of project.

Seminar
2 selected teams from Video Contest have to present their ideas and their perception implied in the videos; then, give them rewards. Also, through records from the Day-out trip, Interns have some parts to interact and raise awareness of students about the current situation of Danang

Team-work
5 interns will be divided into 5 teams, together with selected students, to make plan and draw & paint a picture (about different aspects of Waste management) and think about the ideas implied on that picture.

Take-action day
All 5 teams have to draw and finish the picture on the same day, and at the same place. Then, they should review and prepare for the next event.

Competition
Each of team has to present all about the situation, the problems they can see and the ideas they want to express through picture. Then, assessors will evaluate and reward

Job Description
Developing content

Intern together with Local AEISEC members organize and execute the events. Develop content for events: Opening Seminar, Field-trip. Develop detailed activities in each event.

Executing events

Partly contribute to event's quality-improvement, working together with team to have constructive feedback for the content of each event. Organize and manage event. Facilitate event.

Facilitating

Conduct and facilitate events on active learning, cultural understanding and Environment, mainly focusing on students from High schools, Colleges and Universities.
Promotion

Offline: Deliver presentation to encourage attendances to join events (seminars). Online: Update activities on and manage communication channels.
