Notes from the Couch My therapist, Dr. Bantam, says I suffer from chronic ennui, with just a touch of melancholy but I guess Im just too tired to figure it all out. Im supposed to write down my thoughts and feelings but really, its not that Im not happy, or even sad - just kind of bored. My friend Rufus hes the handyman employed at my Grandmothers house is always trying to make me smile with his jokes. And honestly, I do smile occasionally. Dr. Bantam thinks Rufus likes me, but Im sure he doesnt think of me like that. She wanted to know if I ever asked him, but reallyI couldnt even imagine. Were just friends.
