BSP has a large portfolio of projects distributed over 4 main Assets, both green field as well as many brown field and rejuvenation projects. In 2006 it was decided to set up a separate organisation for the execution of all Major projects in BSP to improve project delivery. The largest and one of the most challenging major projects is the Champion Waterflood project. This Project has recently passed DG3 and needs competent engineers. The project covers the design, fabrication and installation of a multitude of platforms and related pipelines, power cables and umbilicals as well as upgrade and extension of many existing facilities. Projects in BSP are typically executed under BSP management i.e. all design, fabrication, procurement and installation works were done in house or under BSP direct supervision and therefore a very hands on approach is required. Fabrication is executed under a frame agreement in BSPs own fabrication yard in Kuala Belait The primary role for this position to provide Planning support during the Champion Waterflood execution phases. This role includes the following: Develop and maintain Level 2 and 3 schedules/plan for the allocated project phases. When required directly support contractors in developing Level 4 Project Plans for those projects. All offshore projects fabrication is executed through fabrication contracts & installation contracts rather then EPC. Develop reports identifying critical paths, total floats and include risks / contingencies in schedules Provide necessary planning techniques and guidance to Contractors in developing and adopting a practical but transparent system of progress measurement method and structure, aligning with the Plans WBS structure, and develop Planned Early & Late progress curves in P3e or from data exported from P3e. Set up & check calculation process of actual progress measurement, supported by necessary micro KPIs pre agreed and approved Work closely and continuously with Project Leads/Engrs and others in updating, validating, analysing and optimising the individual part of the project plan Plan and track all reviews and audits as part of the projects assurance pan and improve feasible planning process and close review actions Support the Planning Lead in developing / updating a fot for purpose Project Control Plan and procedure where necessary Provide support on progress reporting at all levels Ensure compliance to BSP-12 Process and Procedure in the Project Planning Delivery Coach planning graduate trainee in acquiring the planning skills and knowledge as when required To develop Level 3 / 4 Project Plan for allocated project phases. This is to allow all critical path activities of these projects are identified and mitigated early To develop plan, progress reports and S-curves in P3E and develop link with SAP for

cost reporting To incorporate procurement plans and where applicable drilling schedules in these project plan To conduct regular QC, realism and do-ability check on your allocated projects plan To establish new and maintain existing Planning best practices in coordination with the Lead Planner

Educational Requirements Degree in Engineering / HNC / HND / Diploma in Planning Experience Requirements

Age below or equal to 40 year(s) Qualified Planning Engineer, with good multi-discipline engineering knowledge. Ability to work effectively in teams, good interpersonal and communication skills A qualified Planning Engineer with a minimum of 8-10 years experience including Oil and Gas Engineering Projects Have been working in all areas of Project Engineering Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning Ability to Plan the Resources, Activities and Interfaces effectively, thereby working to Project costs and Schedules Expert in use of Planning Tools, Methods, Soft ware, e.g., MS Project, Primavera P3e, Network Development, Critical Path Analysis, Trend Analysis, Schedule Crushing, Recovery Plans etc. Plus other BSP System (e.g SAP) Eager to acquire knowledge on Projects Probabilistic Risk Analysis concept & approach.
