VICKERS COMBAT APPLICATIONS SLING FOR M4 CARBINE WITH QUICK ADJUST IN CLOSED POSITION

This sling is ready for attachment to issue M4 Carbines or other weapons equipped with front and rear side sling swivels. To attach this sling to an M16 rifle, use Blue Force Gear P/N K-M16-XX, M16 ADAPTER KIT, available separately. The Removable Quick Release comes on the rear of the sling but can be moved to the front of the sling or removed entirely.

1. Attach the Muzzle End of the sling directly to the front swivel, threading the webbing as shown:

2. Attach the Buttstock End of sling to collapsible buttstock as shown in the sequence below:

1. Move the Quick Adjust buckle completely forward to the closed position as shown in the top photo on Page 1. 2. Wearing only a combat shirt, sling the weapon as shown (reverse for left-handed shooters) and adjust the Tail Adjustment Buckle until you can comfortably shoulder the weapon in standing, kneeling and prone positions. 3. The Quick Adjust buckle is used to open the sling when additional kit is worn or when shooting from the weak shoulder. Adjust longer by pulling back on the Quick Adjust tab. Adjust shorter by pulling forward on the tab.

Shooting from the weak shoulder: 1. Drop the weak side shoulder and arm out of the sling. 2. Pull the Quick Adjust tab all the way back to lengthen the sling. 3. Shoulder the weapon to the weak shoulder.
