Carpe Retractum - Pulls objects and certain creatures towards you. Aqua Eructo - Fires a jet of water that can be used to put out fires or cool down creatures. Herbivicus - Causes leaves to grow and certain plants to bloom at a rapid pace. Combined Casting - Sometimes you just can't do it alone. The computer AI will know when to cast the same charm as you when more power is needed! b2) Mastering Jinxes Continuous Jinxes - To master these all you have to do is continuously jinx the creature associated. Lapifors - Salamander Orchideous - Dugbogs Pullus - Erklings Vermiculus - Vampyr Mosps Inflatus - Blast Ended Screwts Wingardium Leviosa - To master these, one player (or two) must cast Wingardium Leviosa on the creature while the other casts the jinx. When its full you can start Magicus Extremos mode that allows you to cast stronger jinx's for a certain amount of time. Press B to activate it and if you're playing two players you need to push B simultaneously to activate Magicus Extremos. ----------------------------------------------------2c) The Pensieve ----------------------------------------------------Once you complete the Quidditch World Cup level you can access the Pensieve. Here you can choose your next level, view your stats or buy/view your collector cards. You can scroll through all the levels but you can't visit all of them right away. You need a certain amount of shields to get places. If you want to know how you're doing on your sub quests all you need to do is scroll to the level you want the stats on and press X. It will tell you (in the top left) how many shields in total you have, (in the top right) how many mini shields are in that particular level, (bottom left) dragon statues and (bottom right) the vanishing card. To access the Folio Universitas, press Y and scroll through the different books. To quit, press B. -----------------------------------------------------2d) Chocolate Frogs and Collector's Card -----------------------------------------------------Chocolate Frogs - Throughout Hogwart's there are Chocolate Frogs roaming free. To catch them, all you need to do is walk over them. When a person's health is completely drained a Chocolate Frog will replenish their health. Pay attention to how many you have left, because if you run out and a character faints you must start over. Collector's Cards - There are three main categories of cards. Character Cards - Each Character has six sets of six cards. To unlock these cards all you need to do is master jinxes. Casting them throughout the levels does that. You can then buy them using the beans you have collected. Creature Cards - These are unlocked by defeating the creatures using various jinxes on the different kinds of creatures. When you equip it, it will give you an advantage over that particular creature. These cannot be bought with beans. Quest Cards - You receive quest cards when you complete sub quests. These cannot be bought with beans. -------------------------------------------------------3 - WALKTHROUGH (STILL MISSING 2 SHIELDS) -------------------------------------------------------3a) The World Cup and Defense Against the Dark Arts Note: While I explain how to get the shields, I will also tell you where all the mini shields and sub quests can be located. If you missed one during my

explanation there is also a sub quests section to refer to. 3b) Hogwart's Exterior b1) Vanishing Card b2) Shields b3) Sub quests 3c) Forbidden Forest c1) Shields c2) Vanishing Card c3) Sub quests 3d) Triwizard Task - The Dragon 3e) Prefect's Bathroom e1) Shields e2) Vanishing Card e3) Sub quests 3f) Herbology f1) Shields f2) Vanishing Card f3) Sub Quests 3g) Triwizard Task - The Lake 3h) Triwizard Task - The Maze 3i) The Final Battle - Voldemort 3j) Moody's Challenges j1) Dragons and Gargoyles j2) Dugbog Avifors j3) Exploding Cauldrons - Vanishing Card j4) Levitation Challenge j5) Bubotuber Fling j6) Tower Blocks --------------------------------------------------------3a) The World Cup and Defense Against the Dark Arts --------------------------------------------------------You will collect 1 shield in this level. Quick Tip - Each time, before entering a level (except The World Cup) you get to choose which character you would like to play as. I recommend (for bean collection) you alternate the character you use each time so that they can all collect equal amounts of beans to buy cards. I suggest using Harry less than the others because he collects plenty during his tasks. --------------------------------------------------------The World Cup --------------------------------------------------------This one is really self-explanatory, all you have to do is follow the path and jinx the crap out of everything. There are no sub-quests and nothing extra to collect so don't worry about anything else but staying alive. You won't need step by step for this one because the game tells you what to do. --------------------------------------------------------Defense Against the Dark Arts ---------------------------------------------------------This is another self-explanatory level. Just do what Moody tells you and you shouldn't have any problems. ---------------------------------------------------------3b) Hogwart's Exterior ---------------------------------------------------------Quick Tip:

Before entering the Hogwart's Exterior, I suggest buying some Collectors Cards. Just press Y to view all the card books and pick the character you want to buy for. I suggest (depending on what's available and how many beans you have) either buy a stamina card or a jinx card, or even both. You won't have a lot of beans to buy many cards, so just buy the important ones. In this level you will be looking for 10 mini shields, 7 large shields, 5 dragon statues, 5 dark detectors and 1 vanishing card. -----------------------------------------------------------b1) The Vanishing Card -----------------------------------------------------------Right off the bat, you're going to get the vanishing card. You only have a limited amount of time so hurry! Run straight ahead until you see a shield (get it!) and run down the steps to your left. Take another left until you see three large blocks. The vanishing card is down the little ramp on the right hand side. If its not, then you missed it and need to be faster. ---------------------------------------------------------b2) Shields ---------------------------------------------------------Shield 1 - Right where your standing near the Vanishing Card there are three huge blocks. Use Wingardium Leviosa to stack two of the blocks against the wall and then the third block against the two and climb up. The dragon statue is to the left, and the shield is down the right hand path. Shield 2 - Go down the stairs and hand a quick right. That thing that looks like an eyeball on a stick is your first dark detector. Jinx it and then head down another little ramp. Use Wingardium Leviosa to lift the cauldron and launch it towards the broken walls. Smash the wall in front of you and in the little section will be your second dark detector. Head back to the first cauldron and break the wall on your left hand side. Break the next wall and then the fountain. Use Accio to retrieve your mini shield.. Head back to the ledge on your right and climb up to get your second dragon statue. Walk right up to edge and you should see a large block in front of you. Use Wingardium Leviosa to lower the large block to the ground and then head on over to it. (use the left hand side of the maze because there are two chocolate frogs in one of the areas). Bring the large block around to the other side of the ledge it used to be on and place it against the wall. Climb up and retrieve your shield. Shield 3 - Enter the cauldron maze again. Keep to the left again (chocolate frogs!) and continue all the way through until you get to an open area where you can go left or right. (you should find a mini shield just a wee bit before that where you fought a Salamander.) Go right and there will be four statues. Smash them with cauldron. The second statue to the right of the cauldron contains mini shield four and the rest have beans. Now back track a little bit and go down the path where all the fire shooter torches are. Use Aqua Eructo on them and you will arrive into a large open area with some fire, cauldrons and fountains. I would try and put out the fires first before killing the salamanders, this way they won't reproduce. Once your finished with that use the cauldron to smash all the supports. There is the fifth mini shield is in the support closest to the first cauldron on your left. There is also a dragon statue behind the farthest fountain. Smash the fountain, to reveal the dragon and jinx it. The fountain on the close right hand side has a dark detector next to it. The last support is a bit tricky because its standing in between a fenced off area (to the right hand side) try and get the cauldron through the open area to smash the last support and get your third shield.

Shield 4 - Now you're done with the cauldron maze so next time you enter the exterior, go straight past the stairs and hang a left. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the rocks and then you'll come to a fork. Go left for the next two shields. Enter the other section (by going through the dark corridor). Use Wingardium Leviosa to push the large block against the wall and climb up. There is a large pool in the center and two ways around. It doesn't matter which side you pick so choose left or right and Aqua Eructo the torches and move towards the end of the area. Use Carpe Retractum to open the gate and dark detector three is to your right hand side. Aqua Eructo the fire to reveal mini shield six and so that you don't burn yourself when you climb up top. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the block over from the right to the left ledge and climb up. Carpe Retractum the gate and cross to get mini shield seven. Use Wingardium Leviosa again to lower the block where the first block used to be. Slip down carefully and climb up the edge to your right (or characters left). There is dragon statue four behind the shield, so try and jinx that before touching the shield. Shield 5 - *Need Herbivicus* Go back to the pool area where you got shield four and use Herbivicus to open the pods to make a path to the next shield which is behind the large fountain. At the far end of the pool there is another mini shield. Shield 6 - Now you need to go the only way you can to get more shields. Instead of taking the left to go to the pool area go right. Carpe Retractum the gates and head up the stairs. Cast some more Carpe Retractum on the two drawbridges. You'll have to fight some Erklings on the way and mini shield eight is in the wide open. Pull the drawbridge again and head up the stairs, put out fire if you want some beans then take the stairs to your right. To the left is dark detector four and down a small right hand path there is the last dragon statue. Now take the left hand path and take a right for mini shield nine. Head back up the big staircase and enter the big open area. You need to put out all the fires before lots of Erklings attack you. Once you destroy them, Accio some rewards and put out the large fire in the middle for your last Shield. Shield 7 - You get this shield once you've found all your mini shields. So if you haven't, best back track. This shield is the easiest to find, once you start the level just go straight and you'll run right into it. ------------------------------------------------------b3) Sub Quests ------------------------------------------------------Dragon Statue 1 - From the beginning go forward and take your first right down the steps. Go left until you see three large blocks. Pile two against the wall and then the third against those two. Climb up and go left. There is the statue. Dragon Statue 2 - From the first statue, climb back down the blocks and head take your left to the cauldron maze. Smash the first left hand wall and climb up on the ledge and jinx the statue. Dragon Statue 3 - Head to the area where you had to smash the supports and fight salamanders. Do your thing with the Salamanders and then break the far right fountain to reveal a statue. Dragon Statue 4 - Head to the pool area and go towards to back end of the pool. Use Carpe Retractum on the gate and the put out the fire with Aqua Eructo. Move the large block from your right side to the left ledge and climb

up. Pull down the drawbridge and cross. Move the next big block to where the first block was originally. Slide down carefully and climb up the right ledge. All the way at the end hidden in the bushes in the statue. Dragon Statue 5 - Head towards the area you got your final shield, eventually you will come across a randomly burning fire at the top of some stairs after fighting a few Erklings. There is another set of stairs to the right hand side of the fire, climb up and you see a dark detector. To the right of it is a little opening and just down the path is your last statue. -----------Dark Detector 1 - From the beginning, take your first left and when you get to the bottom of the stairs, turn right immediately. There is it. Dark Detector 2 - Enter the cauldron maze and break the first wall right in front of you. It is against the wall on the left side. Dark Detector 3 - Head towards the area where you had to smash the supports and kill the salamanders. The dark detector is right next to the fountain on your immediate right. Dark Detector 4 - Go to the pool area and head to the back. Open the gate and right when you walk it, it's to your right. Dark Detector 5 - Head towards the area you got your final shield, eventually you will come across a randomly burning fire at the top of some stairs after fighting a few Erklings. There is another set of stairs to the right hand side of the fire, climb up and you see the final dark detector. -----------------------------------------------------3c) The Forbidden Forest -----------------------------------------------------This is probably the most aggravating level you will need to complete. The Forbidden Forest is confusing and the bubotubers are everywhere and they are so annoying! But nevertheless, it must be done... so here goes. In this level you will find 10 mini shields, 8 large shields, 5 dragon statues, 5 mushrooms and 1 vanishing card. -----------------------------------------------------c1) Shields -----------------------------------------------------Shield 1 - So this is exciting. A big dragon! Before you attempt to chase down the dragon, hand an immediate right. You'll see two large rocks blocking a mini shield. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the rocks and collect your first shield. So head back and take the upward path and watch on your right hand side, there will be a dragon statue. Now keep heading straight and you will see a mini shield on a tree stump, use Accio to get that and hang a loop around the stump and head back down the other side of the path to see another mini shield stashed away in some poisonous mushrooms. Carpe Retractum a bubotuber at them and then head back to the stump. Go straight up and you will know your going the right way cause you'll get attacked by some dug bogs. Once they are defeated climb the ledge to your right and then use the cauldron on top to blow up the left wall (next to the ledge) and then use it again to blow up the bubotubers in the top right corner then quickly use Accio to obtain mini shield four. Now, head to the bottom right corner of the screen and climb the ledge, there will be a mini shield on top. Climb down the other side and you'll come up to some fire.. put it out and keep moving and putting out fires and such. Now you

should see the circle save point. At this point, if your low on health go right and get some treats, but lots of dug bogs will attack and you'll get sealed in by a fire, so if your not desperate. Don't bother. So head upward take the little right hand turn at the bubotubers. There is a mini shield behind some poisonous mushrooms. Once you have that, turn back and go the left path instead until you see a crashed down log on fire and there is your first mushroom! Only, don't stop just yet. Keep going down the path to get dragon statue two, then go back to put out the fire to get mini shield seven. Head through the log and you'll see an open area and a brick wall. There will be a cut scene with a dragon and them some Salamanders to kill. Once that's over, head through the hole in the wall and open the gate (Carpe Retractum). Now your going to go through this area where you need to Aqua Eructo like 15 torches so do that till you get to a long log. You should have also come across a mini shield on your way. Cross the log and when you get to the end to your immediate left is a mushroom. Fight some more dug bogs and then hang a left till you get to a wide-open area. Now you get to battle a big Screwt. Jinx its butt as much as you can, but watch out cause it shoots fire. You can also cast Wingardium Leviosa on it while someone else jinxes it. It doesn't take long to kill, but once its dead... there is your first Shield. Shield 2 - Head back towards the brick wall where you fought the salamanders (go up from the circle through some poisonous mushrooms and take a quick right and around the corner. You should see a big block, that way you'll know your going the right way.) Take the big block, and bring it back to the circle. To the right hand side of the circle there is a little dead end with a floating shield... place the block beneath the shield and voila. Shield 3 - From the circle go down till you get to that arena like area (you'll know you're there cause there will a ledge and some bubotubers blocking your way. Climb the ledge and exit the other side. Go upwards toward the poisonous mushrooms (don't forget to get rid of them first) and to your right hand side shortly after you will see a mushroom to your right so jinx it. Now keep going and you will see a Screwt. Kill it by jinxing its bum, but don' get the shield right away. There is a mini shield in the bottom left corner of the area, and there is a dragon statue behind some bubotubers. Shield 4 - *Need Herbivicus* Go back to the Screwt area where you got Shield three and fight the Screwt again. On the upper right side there is a trail of pods just waiting to be opened. Do so but be careful cause there will be some Mosps. Once you're at the top, fight the Screwt to get your shield. Shield 5 - *Need Herbivicus* Head towards the brick wall and before going through go towards the lower bubotubers facing the wall. There should be a mushroom hidden behind the lone one and next to some poisonous mushrooms. Now head through the hole and pass the torches and cross the log. Go right this time (seeing as how the left side is blocked) and there will be some pods to the right. Before heading up, walk into the ruined area and there is a dragon statue in the corner. Open the pods to get your shield (watch for Mosps). Shield 6 - Head to the arena like area and exit out the other side. Go down this time and pass the poisonous mushrooms. Once through stay to you're right side and go through another set of mushrooms. Keep staying right and this time hug the wall till you see an opening blocked by mushrooms, get rid of them and go in. This is the dragon area, once you're in hug the lower wall to find a mushroom hidden in the corner. On the upper side there are some poisonous mushrooms,

bust them and run along towards the back of the cage for a mini shield and a dragon statue. Head back to the large block that was close to the entrance and lift it until its right in front of the dragons face (like right up against the cage) stay close behind it and use Aqua Eructo to put out the fire blocking the shield. Tip: If you stay behind the block and nowhere else the dragon will keep shooting at you but the block will stop the flames from hitting you. If you move to somewhere where the flames can travel (like anywhere near the shield) it will just keep making more and more fire and you'll never get it to go out. Shield 7 - *Need Herbivicus* Go back to the dragon area and on the right hand side of the cage there are some poisonous mushrooms. Get rid of those and then run up the little hill. Use Herbivicus to open the pods and climb on top of the cage to get the shield. Shield 8 - You get this one from collecting all the mini shields. Follow the same path you would to get to the dragon and you should sort of just come across it. It's a little ways before the entrance in the middle of the field. -----------------------------------------------------c2) The Vanishing Card -----------------------------------------------------From the circle head straight up, through the dugbogs and it is behind that very first patch of poison mushrooms. -----------------------------------------------------c3) Sub Quests -----------------------------------------------------Dragon Statue 1 - From where you begin the first time, if you take the upwards path its on the right side. IF your trying to make it there from the circle save point cause you missed it the first time you need to head back to the arena area and down. Just keep going down and down and down on the right side and eventually you should see it to the right. Dragon Statue 2 - When your heading towards the brick wall, instead of going right and around (where the block is) go all the way to the mushroom patch on the far left. Bust through the first one and then towards the second patch. The dragon statue is stashed away in there. Dragon Statue 3 - Go towards the arena area and go up through some mushrooms to where you found the Screwt (or will find...) it its all the way at the back behind some bubotubers. Dragon Statue 4 - Go towards the brick wall and passed the torches. Cross the log and take a right. It's hidden in the upper right corner of the ruined area. Dragon Statue 5 - It's on the left hand side of the dragon's cage. -------------Mushroom 1 - Head towards the brick wall and take a left. It's in the first patch of poisonous mushrooms. Mushroom 2 - Now actually go to the brick wall and move towards the lower bubotuber. The mushroom is behind it. Mushroom 3 - Cross the big log and it's to the immediate left. Mushroom 4 - Head towards the arena and go up like you were going to fight the Screwt. Blast through the mushroom patch and it's on the right (like right after the patch).

Mushroom 5 - In the Dragon area, hug the lower right wall as you enter and it's in the corner. -----------------------------------------------------3d) Triwizard Task - The Dragon -----------------------------------------------------For the first task, Harry must fly around Hogwarts and surrounding areas to escape being munched on by a large Hungarian Horntail dragon. The trick to getting gold in this task is to collect as many beans as possible and try not to run out of health. Tips: Don't stress out about getting the blue rings, timing is not important in the challenges. Beans are what improves your score. While flying through the forest, stay a little higher than usual because there are many trees that fall. Also while flying across the lake also try and stay a bit higher because the dragon shoots fire ahead of you and the lower you are, the better your chances are of getting burnt. You can collect three shields in total from this task. ------------------------------------------------------3e) The Prefects Bathroom ------------------------------------------------------At this point you should have a few more beans so many buy some cards? In this level you will find 10 mini shields, 8 large shields, 5 dragon statues, 5 taps and a vanishing card. ------------------------------------------------------e1) Shields ------------------------------------------------------Shield 1 - When you are in the bathroom, use the cauldron to blow up the broken wall. You need to hit it at least three times. Get the dragon statue that is next to taps in the tub and then enter the area. Pull down the first drawbridge and follow the path, use the cauldron to blow up the furnace things for your first mini shield. Use that same cauldron to blow up the big pipes that were blocking way on the main path. Go through the pipes that you blasted and climb the ledge next to the falling water. Don't touch it cause it hurts apparently. Use the cauldron to blow up the furnaces and stuff and then pull the large tap with Carpe Retractum and once you do that some Erklings will attack you. Go down the path you just freed up and pull the next gate. Go up, blow up the furnaces to get a shield and pull the taps. Use that cauldron to blow up the pipes below. Go the way you just freed up and go up (not down cause the steam will burn you). Climb up the next ledge and blow up the furnace for another mini shield. Use that same cauldron to blow up the nearest furnace below to get another mini shield. Now go get that mini shield and then proceed along the path till you get to this circular area. In the bottom right hand corner in the checkpoint and to the left there is a cauldron and dragon statue two. Go down the lower left path and there is the third dragon statue between two fish statues. Keep going until you get to a large furnace, a cauldron and another little furnace. Blow up the little furnace and use that same cauldron to blow up the furnace that is across the water to reveal a mini shield. Also, there is the first tap next to the elevated furnace. Jinx it. Now turn back to get your mini shield and then... go back again and keep doing that path you were on. Lower the drawbridge and climb up the ledge and go down the left side. Go down the path till you get to the end and use Carpe Retractum to get the egg once you kill the salamanders. Now you need to go back to the bathroom but you can't go back the same way you

came. So when you back to the first ledge drop down the right side where the steam fish thing is and lower the gates with Carpe Retractum. There are about 5. Go that way and the rest is pretty self-explanatory on how to get back. There will be tones of Erklings that attack you. If you want to work on some of your jinxes attack away, but they don't stop coming so you can also just run through and back into the bathroom to get the shield. Shield 2 - Head back for the bathroom (with the tub and such) and now, the tub should be empty. There is a crack in the floor, use the cauldron to smash it. And there is your shield. Shield 3 - From the circle go down the right hand path. There is a tap along the wall. You should come up to a fork where you can either go down some stairs or not. Go straight and use the nearby cauldron to blow up the pipes below. Just use Wingardium Leviosa, move it above the pipes and let go. Head back down the stairs and jump down the edge and into the pit. Fight the Erklings and don't forget to get your mini shield off the to right. Once that's over, take the big block and lift it up the wooden steps to the left. Then, move is through the path where the pipes were and all the way against the far wall. Climb up the block and the ledge to get the shield. Shield 4 - Go down the right path from the circle and this time stay on the upper path. Pass the cauldron and go up some stairs, pull down the drawbridge and jinx the tap. Go up the next set of steps and from a distance, put out the fires (if you stay far enough away, you won't have to fight the salamanders). Use the cauldron to blow up the furnaces for two mini shields and then go left down another set of stairs. Jinx the dragon statue and pull the drawbridge's to get the shield. Shield 5 - *Need Herbivicus* Go through the upwards path from the circle save point. When you get to the running water climb the nearby ledge, pull the drawbridge and move the tap. Head back down the free path and drop down onto the grate. You should see the shield below; use Herbivicus to get to it. Shield 6 - *Need Herbivicus* Go the same way you did to get to the previous shield only time, stop at the tap and move it. Go back down the stairs and use Herbivicus to get to the right hand path across the water. Jinx the tap that is next to the fish statue and go up the steps. Move the tap and go to the bottom left of the tap and you should see the last dragon statue in the corner. Go back down the steps and use Herbivicus to get to the path you just freed and get the shield. Shield 7 - *Needs Herbivicus* Repeat all the steps in shield five only when you get the second set of taps, move the upper left one instead. Go back down to the main path and use Herbivicus on the pods over to the left. Climb up the steps, but stop near that large furnace type thing to get the last tap. Keep going up the steps and move the taps. Go all the back to the salamander fires (where you got shield 4) and go towards the drawbridge but instead of pulling it down go down the nearby steps to get the shield. Shield 8 - Once you get all 10 mini shields, from the circle go along the upper path and you'll eventually see it between two furnaces. ------------------------------------------------------e2) The Vanishing Card ------------------------------------------------------From the circle, as fast as you can, go down the lower left path until you get to an area with two salamanders. Try to lure the salamanders away from the

drawbridge and then go and pull it down. You should be able to see the Vanishing card up on the ledge just behind the gate. Climb the ledge to get it. -----------------------------------------------------e3) Sub Quests -----------------------------------------------------Dragon Statue 1 - It's above the tub in the actual bathroom part next to the taps. Dragon Statue 2 - Near the save circle to the left next to the cauldron. Dragon Statue 3 - From the circle take the lower left path and it is between to fish statues. Dragon Statue 4 - From the circle, take the right path and go up the stairs, pull the drawbridge and when you get to the tap go down the left set of stairs in the upper corner. It's just at the bottom of the steps. Dragon Statue 5 - From the circle, take the right path, go up the stairs, pull the drawbridge, move the tap. Go back and use Herbivicus to open the right set of pods. Go up the nearby steps and it is at the bottom left corner of the landing on a little pedestal. ------------Tap 1 - From the circle goes down the lower left path and it's near the cauldron that you use to blow up the furnace across the water. It is next to the large furnace that is elevated behind the cauldron. Tap 2 - Go down the right path from the circle and it's against the wall. Tap 3 - Go down the right path and straight up the stairs. Pull the drawbridge and it is on the other side. Tap 4 - Go to the area where you need to use the Herbivicus spell and open the right set of pods and stick right. It's just along the pathway next to the fish statue. Tap 5 - Go to the area where you need to use Herbivicus and open the left set of pods. Go up the stairs and it is next to that radiator type thing on the right side of the steps. -----------------------------------------------------3f ) Herbology -----------------------------------------------------So if throughout this walkthrough you've been wondering what the heck Herbivicus is... well this is where you will find out. Tip: Hermione has a Collector's card that allows her to have more control over Herbivicus. If you've already bought it...use it and use her for your first run through this level. In this level you must collect the Herbivicus spell book, Gillyweed, 10 mini shields, 8 large shields, 5 dragon statues, 5 shovels and a vanishing card. -----------------------------------------------------f1) Shields -----------------------------------------------------Herbivicus Spell book - Go down the steps and when you get to the bottom, the dragon statue and in the flower bed to the right is the first shovel. head to the flower bed across from that (where it looks like there should bubotuber) and get your second shovel. Now go left, open the gate and go up the stairs to get the spell book and

jinx Then be a your

first mini shield. If you notice there is a shield nearby (there are Herbivicus pods on the outside of the wall) don't even bother trying, you can't get it yet. Shield 1 and Gillyweed - Head back towards where you started, but instead of going back up the stairs you came from, go straight and you will see another set of stairs. Move the rocks, use Herbivicus and go up and you should find your second mini shield along the catwalk then down the stairs. There will be a cut scene and you will be in front of a massive pond. Go up to the pond and use Herbivicus to go as far right as you can until you see a bubotuber. Use it to destroy the mushrooms and get mini shield three. Go back and this time, take your second left (not to the stair case but to the other bubotuber on the left side of the pond). Use it to destroy the mushrooms on the catwalk in front of it and the go as far left as you can to the stairwell. Use Herbivicus to open the pods (you'll do it about two times) and move along the catwalk till you come down some stairs. There is mini shield four beneath the left side of the stairs, the second dragon shield beneath the right side of the stairs and in the lower left corner of the screen is a shovel. Now open the gate with Carpe Retractum and fight the Screwts (bum jinx!). Put out the fire in front of the steps and get mini shield four. Go up the stairs and through the next entrance to get onto some catwalks. Now in this area there are TONES of Mosps. They just don't stop coming so try to move fast. Take your first turn when you're on the catwalk and go around the corner and take down the drawbridge. Go back and go right around the corner and go through the greenhouse part and around the corner again. Use Herbivicus to open the pods and go up. Get your next dragon statue on the right hand side of the area, then open the gate. Use the cauldron to blow up the statues if you want some beans. Get your next mini shield and go down the steps. There is a shovel, if you stick to the left side when you get down the steps that are sort of hidden among the bushes near a tree. There is also a dragon statue to the right of the entrance to the greenhouse blocked by some poisonous mushrooms. You can still jinx it, so go and do it. Don't worry about the mini shield, you can't get it anyways. Enter the greenhouse and head on up the stairs. Use Herbivicus and such to get to the top. When you do, use the cauldrons to smash the chandelier type thing. Needs about 4 hits to fall. Once it does there will be tones of Erklings that attack you, I suggest just running or you can try to kill them all. When you get to the bottom, put out the fire to collect your shield and gillyweed. Shield 2 - Go back to the beginning where you had originally started the level (go back up the stairs and across the catwalks and such) until you get to a shield blocked by some poisonous mushrooms. Use the bubotuber across to destroy the mushrooms and get the shield. Shield 3 - Go back to the area where the spell book was. Use the cauldron to smash the broken wall and use Herbivicus to open the pods and get the shield. Shield 4 - Open the gate to your right and now, there are no Screwts but now Mosps can attack you. Use a stone (Wingardium Leviosa) and place it on top of the hole in the middle of the place. Now proceed to move the rocks from in front of the steps, then take the big block in front of the doorway and move up the first flight of stairs. Climb onto it and use Herbivicus. Follow the path of lily pads to a shield hidden in the wall. Shield 5 - Follow the same two steps as shield 4 (open gate, plug the hole)

and then move the big block and enter the hole. Open the pods on the little pond to get the shield. Shield 6 - Follow the two steps of shield 5 and go up the stairs and into the area with the high catwalks. Go straight ahead on the catwalk and pull down the drawbridge. Hand a left and go and go around the corner to get the mini shield. Go back and enter the first door to your left and go around, pull the drawbridge and go back. Go to the next door on the left and follow the catwalk till you read another drawbridge. Pull it and then go back out the door and along the new path. Follow it to get to the shield. Shield 7 - Head towards the greenhouse (where you got the gillyweed) and in that field, go to the bubotubers on the left. You should be able, if you stand in the corner near the cauldron, to lift it and blow up the bubotuber. Use Accio to get your last mini shield and then use the free bubotuber (its more in the middle of the field) to destroy the mushrooms blocking the next shield (on the right of the door). Shield 8 - After you get all your mini shields, its right in front of you when you restart the level. -----------------------------------------------------f2) The Vanishing Card -----------------------------------------------------From the save circle head back up the stairs and into the large pond area. Go along the catwalk (when you enter you should be able to see the card below you) until you get back to the pond and your going to want to open the pods more towards the right so you can get to the area with the card. When you get onto the land with the card, there is almost a mini shield, a shovel in a lower flowerbed and a dragon statue to your right sort of hidden beneath the catwalk. -----------------------------------------------------3) Sub Quests -----------------------------------------------------Dragon Statue 1 - Is at the bottom of the stairs where you started the level the first time (near the spell book). Dragon Statue 2 - Near the save circle beneath the right side of the stairs. Dragon Statue 3 - From the save circle head towards the area where you got the gillyweed. It's on the right hand side of the gate you open before going down the stairs into the field in front of the greenhouse. Dragon Statue 4 - Before the entrance to the greenhouse, it's on the right hand side behind some poisonous mushrooms. Dragon Statue 5 - In the pond room around the same area where you get the vanishing card (its sort of hidden beneath the catwalk) ------------Shovel 1 - In the flowerbed to the right of the first dragon statue. Shovel 2 - In the sandy area across from the shield blocked by poisonous mushrooms. Shovel 3 - Lower left corner of the screen near the save circle. Shovel 4 - In the field before the greenhouse where you got the gillyweed, when you come down the stairs hand to the left and its hidden in a bush by a large tree.

Shovel 5 - In a lower flowerbed near the vanishing card (in pond area) -----------------------------------------------------3g) Triwizard Task - The Lake -----------------------------------------------------In the second task (which you will do after you complete the Herbology level) Harry must swim through the black lake in order to free a treasure that was stolen from him. The trick to both of these levels is bean consumption! Don't worry your little heart out about your timing and don't go out of your way to go through the blue speed rings or to collect gillyweed. Just focus on not drying and try to collect as many beans as possible. Why? Because that's how they decide your score and how many shields your awarded. There are three shields per task. You get one shield for bronze, two for silver and three for gold so do your best to get gold. You can re-do and re-do the task as many times as you like. ------------------------------------------------------3h) Triwizard Task - The Maze ------------------------------------------------------Quick Tip: Before you start the maze go to another level and arm yourself with the triple jinx card, the Screwt creature card and the highest stamina card possible. Quit the level and head for the maze challenge. The maze is a tricky task. Like the other two, focus on collecting beans while you run around. If you have the choice of taking a path with beans, do it. That will increase your score. Unfortunately I cannot give you directions because you just eventually find your way to Krum and Cedric. Once you run into Cedric, he will get attacked by roots and branches and such. Now you must free him by simply killing the two Blast Ended Screwts in the arena area. Once they are done Cedric will fall and now its time to run. The trees with start to close around you move as fast as you can by dodging the prickly plants and branches. You will come across many forks in the path, try to go whichever way has beans. Eventually you will find the Triwizard cup. -------------------------------------------------------3i) The Final Battle - Voldemort -------------------------------------------------------Voldemort is really easy so don't worry about it, there is even lots of pumpkin pastry's that appear along the way. There are three stages to fighting him. First, he will send skeletons after you. Use Wingardium Leviosa to lift them and throw them at gravestones and such. After a while, a cut scene will come on and Voldemort will try and attack you with his wand. Now there is a ball of energy between your two wands, this is a little tricky, but you need to guide it into the skeletons to destroy them. While you're attempting to do this, smash all the graves stones with the ball, and open field makes the last part easier. My trick for the third and final stage of Voldemort was to sort of stay towards the back (like as far back as you can get) because a large Grim Reaper statue is trying to smash you. Dodge it a few times and then after about 3 attacks, it will remain stationary. Use the ball of energy to hit it as much as you can. After a few tries, it'll explode and you will escape using the portkey. Watch the sad ending... and don't bother waiting for the credits because there is nothing. --------------------------------------------------------

3j) Moody's Challenges -------------------------------------------------------j1) Dragon and Gargoyles - In Mad Eye Moody's challenges you need to find 5 dragon statues and 6 gargoyles. Of course you know what dragon statues look like, so I don't need to explain but the gargoyles are the dragons like things that will be sticking off the side of the arena. What I recommend doing is, starting at your right just move in a circle around the arena jinxing everything. They are really easy to find and you shouldn't have a problem. You can do this in any task ,although I recommend doing it in the Levitation Challenge, because you can see everything and there are no bag guys attacking you. j2) Dugbog Avifors - What you need to do for this one, is cast Avifors on 10 dugbogs as fast as you can. The trick is to jinx the dugbog so he has stars flying around his head and then use Wingardium Leviosa to lift it up. The other players will jinx it with Avifors, or unless the others lift them, you can cast Avifors. It happens automatically. Gold time: 1:30 Silver time: 2:00 Bronze time: 3:00 Tip: If your having problems with this one because the AI isn't being so intelligent, get a friend to play with you. It's a bit easier at two players. j3) Exploding Cauldrons - For this challenge, you must use the available cauldrons to blow up all the walls and statues. The trick to getting gold on this one is to utilize all the cauldrons. While your waiting for one to reappear, use the others. And toss the cauldrons, you don't necessary need to levitate it all the way. If you can let go early and let it fly some ways do so. Gold time: 1:00 Silver time: 1:30 Bronze time: 2:00 Note: There is a large statue that is all the way in the back, I couldn't find it my first try, so don't forget about it. The Vanishing Card - The card is found in this level. Blast the wall right in front of you and you should see it cause its right behind. j4) Levitation Challenge - Balance the rocks on the targets using Wingardium Leviosa. I have no tips for this one, its one of those one where you need to depend on the AI to be intelligent. Use a friend if you're having troubles. Gold time: 0:55 Silver time: 1:30 Bronze time: 2:30 j5) Bubotuber Fling - Use Carpe Retractum to fling the bubotuber at the targets. I have no tips for this one except always utilize the bubotubers, never wait for one to come back, just keep flinging them at the targets. The two that are both on the left and right of the dead center one are worth 15. Try to get those ones as much as you can. Gold score: 500 Silver score: 250 Bronze score: 100 j6) Tower Blocks - Stack the blocks on top of each using Wingardium Leviosa. Gold time: 1:25 Silver time: 1:50 Bronze time: 2:30 Note: You must move one of the blocks onto the square in the middle before you can begin stacking them.

-----------------------------------------------------4) FAQ -----------------------------------------------------Here are some questions that have been asked that may help you on your way. Q: Why can't I use my Herbivicus charm? A: You have to make it to the Herbology level first and get the spell book. Q: What time do you need to get in the Triwizard tasks to get gold? A: There is no time to beat, just collect as many beans because that is what decides your score. Also, try not to die. Q: In Moody's Challenge, how do you make Avifors? A: You need to jinx the Dugbog until it is stunned (you'll see stars), cast Wingardium Leviosa and your friends will cast Avifors. OR if the others cast Wingardium Leviosa, you can cast Avifors. Q: At the end of the maze, how do I kill those things and free Cedric? A: You need to jinx the Screwts from behind. Once they are dead, Cedric will fall from the trees. Q: In the Herbology level, where is the cauldron to smash the wall near the spell book? A: You need to complete the level once (by getting the gillyweed) for all the little extras to appear. It'll be there when you have your second go.
