announced
it
would
develop
a
200- acre,
30
Megawatt
solar
farm
in
Social
Circle,
Georgia.
One
of
the
Southeasts
largest
solar
farms,
Social
Circle,
GA
is
approximately
50
miles
east
of
Atlanta
and
will
serve
customers
of
Georgia
Power,
a
Southern
Company
subsidiary.
Silicon
Ranch,
through
its
recently
acquired
Simon
Solar
Farm,
LLC
subsidiary,
has
entered
into
a
20
year
Power
Purchase
Agreement
with
Georgia
Power
to
deliver
solar
generated
electricity
beginning
in
the
summer
of
2015.

this

large

large
projects
will
drive
down
solar
panel

component
production
costs.
