ONE: Dont Accept Pricing as a Reason Not To Buy...

Our customers use price as a reason but the real reasons are almost always that we didnt create enough value in our service. This August be because our intro lesson was more focused on signing them up instead of a great lesson, or during an upgrade we didnt prepare the parent to be upgraded. There are a lot of reasons but price is usually not one of them... in reality... Challenge yourself to ask what you missed when you get a price objection.

TWO: Is Your Pricing High Enough?

2007 Graduations
Jan. 18th -19th March 15th-17th August 18th-19th July 12th- 14th Sept 14th - 15th Nov 8th -10th

Its almost always too low. Over the last few years we moved from $75 a month for a basic program to $95... no change in conversion percentage. Then we moved to $100... no change. THEN we moved to $125... no change. We are currently at $149 a month for basic and there is no difference in conversion percentage (the number of people we enroll vs those who do a 1st lesson). Its important to say this again - we doubled the initial price and had no change in customer response. So whats the effect... well if you enroll 100 members a year, and get $75 more per month, that equals $75 X 12 X 100 = $90,000 difference. This is with NO change in anything else. You can also make sure you charge more for your upgraded programs. Our conversion percentage increased 18% when we increased the jump in price for Leadership.

Fathers Month!
All of the Fathers Month stuff is on the web in the August 07 folder within the Instructor News Folder. You should look at the files and prepare and post the posters, email the emails and send the letters: Get uniforms for Dads! Setup a drop box so you can stuff tickets every time the dad goes to class. Plan your clinics Get dads who are members to give testimonials - hand signs. Have one of these dads call to get the other dads into the clinics!. This can be one of your biggest promotions of the year. Dont miss out on this.

Black Belts are required to attend to graduate to any new Black Belt rank. No make ups or alternate graduations are allowed. Students are always required to bring their own ATA approved equipment. Midterms are required by all Black Belts below 2 at every 2 month graduation. Above 2, at the above dates. Up to 3 August be done at the local academy. Certification camps provide the opportunity for Leadership adults to advance to level 1, 2 and level 3 trainee collars.
