Rechargeable batteries

English

The Accessory Pack is supplied with 2 Ni-MH re-chargeable battery packs. Alternatively you can also use 4 x AAA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries (1.2V 600mAh) per handset. The battery symbol in the display indicates when it is time to charge the batteries. The battery symbol has two segments, which disappear as the battery charge decreases. When the batteries are almost fully discharged the battery symbol flashes and a warning tone is emitted, charge the batteries as soon as possible. 1. Remove the belt clip, lift the small tab at the top of the clip and simultaneously push upwards. 2. Remove the battery cover by pressing on the indentation markings, and pushing out (away from aerial). 3. Insert the batteries ensuring correct polarity is observed (please refer to the diagram on the right). If you are installing individual Mi-MH rechargeable batteries please refer to the markings on the battery pack and within the battery compartment. 4. Replace the battery cover. 5. Place the handset into the charger, button face out, the relevant charge light on the base will illuminate. 6. Leave the handset to charge for a minimum 14 hours prior to use. Once completely discharged batteries will take a minimum of 14 hours to fully recharge. Fully charged batteries will last for approximately 80 hours in standby or 3 hours talk.

To attach the new belt clip, position the belt clip next to the circular bracket on the carrying case and at a right angle (90) to the handset aerial. IMPORTANT! Please note!

Only use the headsets supplied in the pmr a-pack:

Adjust the ringer and headset volume immediately upon connecting a headset, as these settings may initially be too loud (details can be found within the main pmr manual).
