SIGNIFICANT BACKGROUND HIGHLIGHTS 2005 - Present Partner, MK Development Partners Consulting practice to home builder/developers and shopping center owners which encompasses: * Working directly with lenders and potential equity partners to procure constru ction loans and equity capital. * Preparing all financial data necessary for lenders and potential investors. * Working directly with Owner to formulate deal points. * Creating project proformas, budget and forecasting models. * Designing cost accounting and reporting systems that focus attention on those elements that are necessary for owners, upper & middle management to accomplish their goals for success. 2001 - 2005 President/COO Red Mountain Retail Group - Santa Ana, CA * Assumed operational responsibility of a 14-project, $50M shopping center redev elopment company with 8 team members in 2001. * Designed and implemented a complete overhaul of the organizational structure u tilizing an "Enterprise Team" concept and a completely new business modeling/for ecasting/accounting system. * Oversaw the growth of the company to 70 centers in 6 states with an estimated value of $450M and 70 team members by the end of 2004. * Stepped aside in 2005 to form MK Development Partners. Red Mountain continued to grow to nearly $1B in market value by the end of 2007 adhering to the enterp rise teams and other systems implemented during my tenure as COO. 1992 - 2001 Director, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Taylor Woodrow Homes, Inc. - Irvine, CA Worked with the CEO to develop and execute strategic planning for all California

and Nevada operations and helped to build and motivate the "Enterprise Teams", which were ultimately responsible for creating Taylor Woodrow Homes' reputation for innovation, quality and excellence in the late 90's and early 2000's. Operations: * Partnering with CEO, completely re-organized California operations in 1996 fro m a vertically oriented structure to a horizontally oriented team-Enterprise Tea ms. * Created, organized and directed Design Center Operations profit center in 1996 , generating $55M of revenues and $11.5M of profits in 2000, nearly a third of t he company's bottom-line. * Responsible for all of Nevada home building operations in Las Vegas and Reno f rom 1996 to 2001. * Participated in planning and organizing Northern California expansion in 1997, contributing land acquisition review, design operations, accounting and IT. * Oversaw acquisition and implementation of the F.A.S.T. operating/accounting so ftware system in 2000, including the recruiting and hiring of the VP of F.A.S.T Operations. Finance and IT: * Aggressively and sensibly managed cash flow and $200M LOC resulting in substan tial improvement of Return on Capital Employed to 17% in 2000. * Introduced innovative accounting software that substantially improved cost acc ounting and reporting for the company. * Completely redesigned cost accounting standards, budgetary controls, financial reporting, policies and procedures for entire finance functions of the company. * Oversaw expansion of accounting department to include regional and corporate g roups with a total of 35 team members. * Managed formulation of IT department and growth from one person in 1992 to sev en team members in 2001. * Formulated plan in 1997 and oversaw creation of Wide Area Network necessary to provide state-of-the-art data communication between regional operations and hom e office server farm.
