This involved developing RFP's for selecting projects, via a competitive process. I also monitored the time, scope , cost of 25 projects totaling over $7 million dollars and ensuring they meet th e business requirements and performance measures stated in the RFP. I also ensur ed Applicant contracts did not violate Federal, State law or PCCD terms and cond itions for technology projects. * Provided leadership in the RFP process to ensure the technology projects selec ted through RFP's were within the time, scope and cost requirements. There were no project modifications or requests for additional funds. The results were 90% of the projects meet the requirements detailed in the RFP's. * Performed "requirement workshops" in order to develop a "Best Practice" crimin al justice strategic plan for 53 Commonwealth counties. This project was success fully implemented after I left PCCD. * Provided oversight on high profile projects that include: the Lancaster City i nstallation of a wireless mesh network to supplement their existing fiber optics network and a Gun Shot Detection System for the city of Harrisburg. Responsible for the RFP, balanced scorecard, assembly of the selection committee (7-people) and their project activities.
