Director, WebSphere Platform Solution Test, 9/2002 - 12/2004: Director of the W ebSphere Platform Solution Test Organization which provided IBM Software Group infrastructure and resources to test Solutions of SWG Products prior to shipment . This Software Development and Services Organization consisted of 350 em ployees with a budget of $45M enabling the Secureway Organization to produce a $ 1.2B annual worldwide revenue. The Software Development and Services Organizati on tested all the Secureway Products prior to being shipped to any Customers. T hese Products consist of IBM's networking products (client and servers) on the s390, INTEL, RISC, SUN/SOLARIS and HP Platforms. Personal Communications Product Manager, 8/95 - 3/97: Product manager of IBM Per sonal Communications product family for Windows, WIN95, NT, OS/2, and AS/400 pla tforms. Responsible for the complete mission transfer of design, development, t est and service of the IBM Personal Communications Family of Emulators from Yama to, Japan to Raleigh, NC. This created an organization of 115 employees with a budget of $20M and expected 170M annual worldwide revenue. Additional accomplis hments included the WIN95 and NT Personal Communications 3270 & AS/400 4.1 Produ ct shipments while completing the mission transfer and creating the new organiza tion in Raleigh, NC. Personal Communications Product Manager, 8/94 -8/95: Product manager of IBM Per sonal Communications product family for Windows, OS/2, and AS/400 platforms. Re sponsible for local product planning and marketing teams. Responsible for remot e management of the 90 member development team in Yamato, Japan. Product family expected to generate $80M annual revenue worldwide. Communications Manager/2 Product Manager, 10/92 - 8/94: Responsible for managin g design, development, test, service and delivery of IBM's initial release of Co mmunications Manager/2 and three follow-on releases. Successfully shipped produ ct after replacing a management team that had slipped schedule by one year. Dur ing this tenure, product schedules, quality, and revenue exceeded plans in 1993 and 1994. The product generated more than $70M during this period and customer satisfaction surveys increased from 70% to 81%. Managed a team of approximately 90 employees (6 managers) with budget responsibilities of $12M. NCP/OSI Early Support Program Manager, 12/89 - 9/92: Responsible for defining, implementing, and coordinating IBM's Early Support Programs for all NCP and OSI products on all platforms worldwide.
