net Background Over 35 years of managing professionals and non-professionals, pa id staff and volunteers in a variety of disciplines and work environments. There has been a strong emphasis on training and strategic planning in all positions. Over the past 6 years, I have taught Mathematics and Physical Science at Lincoln Land Community College and a calculus level Physics course at Illinois College. The previous 10 years, my work was focused in the ar ea of training and coaching of volunteer delivery teams in connection with servi ng inmates, ex-inmates and their families. In association with local civic organ izations, the primary mission was to help people discover the idea of family rel ationships. In addition, inmates were assisted in developing life planning skill s and establishing mentoring relationships that encourage implementation and acc ountability. As a result of considerable public speaking, I developed excellent platform skills. Over the previous 16 years, my work was in the fields of electronic design and m anufacturing process development with emphasis on electronic components, compute r controlled electronic systems and electro-mechanical systems encompassing disc iplines such as electro-optics, infra-red and microwave signal detection, distor tion and signal processing technologies. Teach all levels of Math ematics and Physics in a normal Bachelor of Science Program. 1991-2003 PRISON FELLOWSHIP Springfield, IL Field Director, 1991 -2003 Report to the Regional Director. Responsible for the operation of all facets of Prison Fellowship in Illinois and Indiana. Included are: In-Prison Seminars; Sm all Group Studies; and ministering to the needs of ex-inmates and doing family ministry through Angel T ree. These tasks are accomplished by training, equipping and mobilizing volunte er ministry delivery teams throughout the state of Illinois and Indiana. * Developed and implemented 16 Ministry Delivery Teams designed to provide care and education for inmates, ex-inmates and their families. * Developed a seminar designed to help inmates to develop a healthy sense of gen der identity and the marriage relationship. * Developed a parenting curriculum being used at the women's correctional center s and one men's facility. * Developed a program designed to enhance successful re-entry of inmates through learning life planning skills and connecting inmates to "coaches" who can help

them network to form a life plan. * Developed a statewide network in Illinois of ministries designed to collaborat e in the process of inmate re-entry. 1988-1991 ELECTRODYNAMICS, INC., Rolling Meadows, IL

Vice President of Operations, 1988-1991 Report to the President. Responsible for Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Qua lity Assurance and Program Management for three geographically different sites w ith combined annual sales of $55 million. Processes included all those associat ed with design and manufacture of high quality electronic components and systems and electro-mechanical systems. * Developed a Five-Year Plan utilizing top down planning from strategic objectiv es to action plans for tactical achievement and measurement of progress. Action plans covered the areas of: Increasing Revenue, Reducing costs, Managing Assets and Developing Support Projects. * Development of teams for movement of authority and responsibility to lower lev els in the organization. In addition to greater motivation and efficiency withi n the Operations group, teaming led to improved communications and cooperation b etween organizations. It was estimated that this would save the company in time and materials about l0% of gross revenues annually when fully implemented. * Re-organization and revitalization of the management team at one of the compan y's manufacturing sites resulted in immediate savings of $500 thousand and set a posture for accelerated growth. 1977-1988 NORTHROP Defense Systems Division, Rolling Meadows, IL

Director of Manufacturing Process and Control. 1979-1988 Report to Vice President, Manufacturing Operations. Managed 52 industrial engineers, 36 production inspectors and two trainers (thro ugh three section managers) in the development of manufacturing processes in a p lant generating $250 million in production sales. Processes included: soldering , potting for high voltage, humiseal application, wiring harnesses and other mec hanical assemblies, automatic part insertion and testing. Special two years staff assignme nt responsible for development and implementation of a plan for transition of pr oducts from engineering development through product development and into manufac turing.
