Communications are done thru teleconference, e-mails, remote acces s of data information/sharing thru Process Historian, PRS, SAP and MIS. o As Operations Manager, responsible for planning, organizing, reviewing and con trolling the entire Plant operations. o Procedures and Work Instructions are updated and followed to ensure the succes sful technology transfer of manufacturing processes. o Key member of the Global Operations Team of ORICA. o Develop operational strategies and the four (4) year plan of the Plant. o Ensure that the Plant and employees are safe. Safety is the number 1 priority in ORICA. o AS Environmental Management Representative (EMR) of ISO 14001 of SMC-Davao Bre wery, ensures that the Plant has harmonious relationship w/ the community. o The unloading Master for Ammonia Unloading at pier. o Leader of the Team that work on continuous Plant improvements and generating s avings to the company. This is under the Deliver the Promise (DTP) principle of ORICA. o Aside from handling the Operations Department, manage the Logistics and Mainte nance Department of Pepsi Plant. o Training of people. I resigned from ORICA as the Operations Manager in January 10, 2011. It is a Che mical Plant w/ Ammonium Nitrate as product. It is situated in Bacong, Negros Ori ental, Philippines. The Plant is ISO 9001 & 14001 certified. Orica is an Australian-based company currently ranked as one of the top 40 compa nies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange based on market capitalization. It is present in more than 50 countries worldwide. Orica has four 'Deliver the Promise (DTP)' principles supporting performance-bas ed culture and against which performance is measured. These principles - Safety , Health and the Environment, Commercial Ownership, Creative Customer Solutions and Working Together - are all supported by appropriate systems and processes. The following are my remarkable achievements: 1. ORICA. (Employed Dec 2007 - January 10, 2011) * For the 1st time, the Plant was able to achieve its Production Budget in 2008. No major CAPEX spent. I functioned as Operations Manager starting middle of May 2008 while the YTD neg ative variance then was 806 MT Ammonium Nitrate (AN). The deficiency was consist ently reduced on each succeeding months and by year-end of 2008 we surpassed the Budget by 205 MT AN. Attached are the awarded DTP entries for 2008 - 2010. 2. Pepsi. * Consistently achieved the Monthly Production Target unlike the previous months /years before my term. * Made innovations at Bottling filler eliminating rejects (short/over fills). 3. San Miguel Corporation. * Grand Awardee for Employee Suggestion System (ESS) on Innovation. The project saved SMC, Mandaue Brewery in millions of pesos. 4.
