Monitoring the national and international market, to bring new suppliers, product derivatives, and product innovations into the purchasing portfolio. Analyze demand, markets and suppliers to create a basis for deciding on the optimum sourcing strategy. Defining of procurement strategies to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of materials. Organize and execute regional and cross-regional bundling of the demands of the different Groups/sites and projects for optimum utilization of procurement power. Define and implement the procurement, supply and bundling strategy in order to achieve the maximum profit contribution to the corporate targets. Undertake supplier management (jointly with partner functions, e.g. specialist department, Q. logistics, etc.) in

Preparing and conducting contract and price negotiations for medium to large volumes to contribute to the profitability of the company. Maintain regular contacts with interface partners to recognize developments (in market, demand, etc.) and exert influence accordingly. Analyzing and controlling of contractual agreements to prepare renegotiations/subsequent negotiations, initiate appropriate measures and guarantee supplies. Producing price forecasts and internal figures to supply basic data for corporate planning (costing data) and reporting.

Knowledge & Experience

Least experience of 7-8 years in industry. Process control techniques incl. engineering, commissioning, different equipments like transmitter, sensoric, cabinets, cables etc. Knowledge of electrical equipment: transformers, generators, distribution, auxiliary, medium and low voltage switchgear, voltage surge protection Knowledge of project business knowhow concerning procurement
