Applications Engineer formerly reporting to the Customer Service Team in the Sales Department. Currently working within Engineering Department. Management of the internal Change Request Procedure - ensuring appropriateness, as well as priority and duration for proposed Engineering Tasks. Creation of Item Master information, uploading to SYSPRO Production software, ensuring that the customer gets the correct version of the valve that they wanted. Project Verification Engineer on MoD Support Vehicle Contract (6500 vehicles) Day to day planning and management of risk reduction (in-house) testing regime ensuring that the product (vehicle loadbed) is built with a degree of confidence and assurance for the customer. Integration of systems ranging from pipework to electrical cabling, ensuring a right-first time approach was maintained. Management of tasks ensuring correct configuration of component/assembly/installation was manufactured. Part-time MSc in Aircraft Engineering Cranfield University (Feb 00 Apr 03) o Consisted of three residential weeks per year and nine modules ranging from designing and stressing, to flight dynamics. o Sponsored by BAE.

Course had a practical approach to learning, involving college aircraft and manufacturing facilities. Individuals had to produce a personal thesis as well as a group thesis. Group work related to novel control of an unmanned aerial vehicle created by a previous group. Individual thesis was derived from work in progress at the time on Airbus A380 utilising a novel design-thro-stress package Course passed 2003
