SUMMERY OF QUALIFICATION: Over 25 years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering in the area o f PWR, BWR Plant design, construction, test, and reliability and FSAR safety rev iew. Systems and Equipment engineering activities include: Balance of plant systems i ncludes but not limited to: Steam Generation and Distribution system, Main Steam and Condensate system, Raw and Service Water piping systems, Instrument Air and Plant Air Systems, HVAC and Fire Protection systems. Miscellaneous Tasks Duties/responsibilities: 1. Prepare, maintain, monitor and control cost estimates, project budgets, proje ct schedules, bills of material and related project drawings and work instructio ns. Perform comparative cost studies, feasibility studies and provide schedule f orecasts in support of site engineering request. 2. Direct the work of technicians and provide project coordination and communica tion among departments, outside agencies, customers, and suppliers. Specify equi pment, analyze, design, maintain, and review engineering calculations to support projects in accordance with applicable federal, state, local code and regulatory requirements. Perform field reviews to coordinate project requiremen ts with field personnel and customers, as required. Secure, monitor, and manage contract engineering services in support of projects , as required. 3. Identify and implement design improvements and specification developments for enhanced engineering/project management processes. Provide engineering and/or d esign expertise for Design projects which identify or support departmental and/o r strategic corporate objectives. Assist and/or conduct technical presentations in support of department and corporate strategic objectives to internal/external customers. Serve as technical expert in corporate legal matters, as required. D evelop designs for projects with a high level of technical complexity with the a ssistance of engineering staff using CAD and engineering software. 4. Provide assistance and support the work effort of engineering staff in order to effectively optimize departmental and corporate strategic objectives. Perform other duties as required. This includes review and revision of affected applicable secti ons of FSAR and Technical Specifications and TVAN Standard programs and processes (SPP). 3 Performed and Checked various hydraulic and thermodynamics, heat transfer and Appendix R calculations using Crane Technical Paper No. 410 and special Proto Hx and Marlo-Coil sizing, multi-flow software programs for plant Equipment and Systems. 4 Managed engineering work for assigned project program to ensure design integri ty, technical accuracy and Compliance with all Nuclear Plant and Nuclear Engineering policies, procedures a nd applicable codes and Standard..
