Q.No. 01 (a) SECTION-I Draw the projections of the following points on the same ground line keeping the projectors 25mm aparts.

(i) Point A, 40mm above the H.P and 25mm infront of the V.P. (ii) Point B, 15mm above the H.P. and 50 mm behind the V.P. (iii) Point C, 40mm below the H.P and 25mm infront of the V.P. (iv) Point D, in both the H.P and the V.P.
(b) A point P is 15mm above the H.P and 20mm infront of the V.P. Another point Q is 25mm behind the V.P and 40mm below the H.P. Draw projections of P and Q, keeping the distance between their projectors equal to 90mm. Draw straight lines joining (i) their top views and (ii) their front views.

The front view of a 125 mm long line PQ measures 75 mm and its top view measure 100 mm. Its end Q and the mid point M are in the first quadrant, M being 20 mm from both the planes. Draw the projection of the lines PQ. The projectors drawn from the H.T. and the V.T. of a straight line AB are 80mm apart while those drawn from its ends are 50mm apart. The H.T. is 35mm in front of the V.P., the V.T. is 55mm above the H.P. and the end A is 10mm above the H.P. Draw the projections of AB and determine its length and inclinations with the reference planes. Draw the projection of a circle of 75 mm diameter having the end A of the diameter AB in the H.P., the end B in the V.P and the surface inclined at 30o to the H.P and 60o to the V.P Draw a rhombus of diagonals 100mm and 60mm long, with longer diagonal horizontal. The figure is the top view of a square of 100mm long diagonal, with a corner on the ground. Draw its front view and determine the angles which its surface makes with the ground. Draw the projections of the following solids, situated in their respective position, taking a side of the base 40mm long or the diameter of the base 50mm long and the axis 65mm long. (a) A pentagonal prism, a rectangular face parallel to and 10 mm above the H.P. , axis perpendicular to the V.P. and one base in the V.P. (b) A square pyramid, all edges of the base equally inclined to the H.P. and the axis parallel to and 50mm away from both the H.P. and the V.P. SECTION-II
