Sngal : immigration clandestine, une alternative la pauvret

01/05/2009 L'immigration clandestine est toujours d'actualit au Sngal qui demeure le pays d'Afrique o les populations sont les plus tentes par l'aventure en Europe. Selon ces personnes, ce choix s'impose eux en raison des difficults conomiques qu'elles rencontrent dans leur pays. Medoune Mbaye et Gaucher sont des pcheurs sngalais reconvertis en passeurs, pour faciliter le passage des candidats la migration du Sngal l'Europe. C'est dans ce contexte qu'ils ont russi leur tour entreprendre la traverse de la mer pour rejoindre les ctes europennes. Au cours de cette exprience, ils ont connu les affres du voyage avant d'tre arrts lors d'un de ces priples, aprs dix jours de navigation en haute mer. Medoune Mbaye, Gaucher et les autres passagers de la pirogue seront par la suite refouls des les Canaries vers le Sngal. Ce qui rduira du coup nant, leurs espoirs d'avoir la possibilit de gagner dcemment leur vie. Ils ont expliqu que la pauvret laquelle est expose une grande partie des populations sngalaises, oblige ces dernires choisir malgr elles, de se lancer dans l'aventure de l'immigration clandestine. Pour eux, mme si des pays europens ont tabli des programmes de coopration avec le Sngal pour endiguer ce phnomne d'immigration et crer des emplois, les plus ncessiteux n'en bnficient pas.
