The Annual Congregational Meeting for the purpose of reviewing 2011 and looking ahead to 2012 will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. There will be a carry-in dinner at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will follow.

We will take a donation during the evening with the goal of raising $500. Tickets will be sold in the parlor beginning today.

KEENAGERS LUNCH & TOUR: We had a good group attend our lunch on Tuesday (1/24). A total of 46 shared in the lunch and about one half of the group participated in a most enjoyable and informative tour of the Glass Museum. KEENAGERS IN FEBRUARY: I am suggesting that we make the Valentine Banquet, sponsored by our youth department, on February 10, our event for the month. Do plan to participate in this fundraiser for special youth activities. Watch and listen for more information. WEDNESDAYS: This week (2/1) neither of our study groups will be meeting. However, we will resume on February 8. Chapter 4 will be the focus on the 10:00 AM and 6:30 PM groups at that time. Why not join us, in either of the groups, next week? SUNDAY EVENINGS IN THE SANCTUARY: This week (1/29) I am completing the Hard Sayings of Jesus series. On January 29, the title is You Can Buy Friends? (Luke 16:9). Do read Luke 16:1-9 in preparation for the message. GIANT PRINT BIBLES: I still have some of the GIANT PRINT Bibles. They are the New International Translation. In other words, we want to see the things you are taught actually change your lifestyle & your daily decisions.

How Can I respond today?

At FACC we look to the Bible for guidance on all issues. We believe that Gods Word is clear concerning what a person must do to become a Christian. Trust that Jesus can bring you to salvation. Turn (repent) from the sin in your life. Confess your desire to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Be baptized (immersed) in water for the forgiveness of sins and to receive the Holy Spirit into your life. To make this life decision for Christ, we ask that you come forward during our commitment song at the conclusion of the Sunday message. Baptized believers are welcome to become members at FACC by coming forward on Sunday morning or by seeing our Senior Minister to discuss this further. We ask that you complete a series of Curious classes to help you better understand what you are committing to as a member.
