Team Ground Rules and Guidelines


What are the general expectations for all members of the team? All team members are
expected to participate fully in ALL team assignments. All time assignments must be
submitted in a timely manner. Each member is expected to attend all team meetings
set forth by the team. If a team member cannot attend he/she must contact at least
two (2) other team members via telephone, email, or face to face and notify them of
his/her absence.

Expectations for Time Management and Involvement


(Participation, communication with the team, accessibility, etc.) All team members must
have a face to face meeting at least once a week. Phone conferences are acceptable in
addition to the face to face meeting. A meeting place and time will be established by team.

Ensuring Fair and Even Contribution and Collaboration
What strategy will you use to ensure that all team members are contributing and
collaborating appropriately? Describe the communication strategy you will use if a team
member is not contributing and collaborating effectively. How will the team manage
conflicts between team members? All team members must contribute equally to all team
assignments. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Communication plays a big role in how effectively a team
can work together. If a team member does not understand an assignment, it is the team
members responsibility to ask for assistance from another team member. If an issue arises
within the team, team must attempt to resolve it internally. If no resolution is reached,
instructor will be notified to resolve the issue.
