Job Summary: Acts as an assistant to pharmacist and works under his/her direct supervision. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. 19. 20. 21. 22. 23. 24. 25. 26. 27. 28. 29. Applying the Hospital & Department Policies & Procedures. Comply with standard laid down by the approved CBAHI standards. Receiving Physicians Orders. Preparing U.D. Medications, floor stock , Outpatient prescriptions, and U.D. cassettes filling. Checking U.D. Medication, floor stock, Outpatient prescription, and U.D. cassettes filling. Entering and processing I.V orders, U.D. Orders & Outpatient prescriptions. Repacking & labeling the medications and materials. Arranging the medications on the shelf. Compounding of extemporaneous Preparations. Restocking of the medications & paramedical supply with proper storage conditions. Assure of medications & material availability. Documentation of the activities when necessary. Doing of any needed paper work. Answering the phone calls and response properly. Receiving and dealing with returned medications properly. Consultation with drug information center when necessary. Recycling of unused medications. Operating the repackaging machine for unit dose preparation. Assure of inventory for outdated and deteriorated drugs. Participating in continuous education program. Working at any scheduled shift assigned to him/here at any time of the day. Delivery of the medications to the words. Follow up and control the work flow. Attend departmental and hospital meetings whenever she/he assigned. Perform any other duties assigned to him/here and related to pharmacy department. Handling control & restricted medications. Fill the floor stock orders under the supervision of a pharmacist. Fill and checks emergency drug trays, and CPR boxes routinely, and replaces missing , and outdated drugs. Required Qualifications: Diploma Degree in pharmacy science from recognized college. Valid license to practice.

Experience & Skills: 1 year in pharmacy experience. Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of drug terminology.
