NEW parking restrictions have been introduced in Haverfordwest. Parking along a section of Quay Street and in the Bristol Trader car park is now limited to two hours duration. The restrictions, which have been introduced by Pembrokeshire County Councils traffic management section, are designed to encourage the turnover of space for town shoppers. Free parking is still available from the end of Quay Street to Union Hill, while spaces adjacent to Parade Steps are also unrestricted.

Two riders, Karl Hedley and Gareth Mathias from Letterston, whose entries have been paid for by Somethings Cooking, are riding to raise funds for Wards 9 and 10 at Withybush Hospital. Trek Bikes is offering the rider who raises the most sponsorship for the Tour, a free Trek Madone 3.1 carbon road bike worth 1,500. Tempted?
