ABSTRACT:
Is it possible to create a computer which can interact with us as we interact each other? For example imagine in a fine morning you walk on to your computer room and switch on your computer, and then it tells you Hey friend, good morning you seem to be a bad mood today. And then it opens your mailbox and shows you some of the mails and tries to cheer you. It seems to be a fiction, but it will be the life lead by BLUE EYES in the very near future. The basic idea behind this technology is to give the computer the human power. We all have some perceptual abilities. That is we can understand each others feelings. For example we can understand ones emotional state by analyzing his facial expression. If we add these perceptual

abilities of human to computers would enable computers to work together with human beings as intimate partners. The BLUE EYES technology aims at creating computational machines that have perceptual and sensory ability like those of human beings.

CODE EXCITED LINEAR PREDICTION

A.Rama Krishna P.Sandeep NEWTON'S INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING , Macherla.

ABSTRACT:
Codebook Excited Linear Prediction (CELP) is one of the most widely used class of speech Coders which is based on the concept of LPC. The enhancement is that a codebook of different excitation signals are maintained on the encoder and decoder. The encoder finds the most suitable excitation signal sends its index to the decoder which then uses it to reproduce the signal. Hence the name Codebook Excited is given to this coder. There are many variants of CELP that are in use in various applications. Low Delay CELP (LDCELP) and Algebraic CELP (ACELP) are generally used in internet voice calls and cell phones. ITU-T has also standardized numerous coders. Main difference in these variants is the generation of excitation signal that is used in the decoder along with other

information to reconstruct the speech signal. Other differences include pre-processing and Postprocessing filters that shape the original and reconstructed signals for a better performance perceptually. These variants work on different bit-rates.

ABSTRACT:
Free space optics (FSO) is a line-of-sight technology that currently enables optical transmission up to 2.5 Gbps of data, voice, and video communications through the air , allowing optical connectivity without deploying fiber optic cables or securing spectrum licenses. FSO system can carry full duplex data at giga bits per second rates over Metropolitan distances of a few city locks of few kms. FSO, also known as optical wireless, overcomes this last-mile access bottleneck by sending high bitrate signals through the air using laser transmission. In telecommunications, free-space optics (FSO) is an optical communication technology that uses light propagating in

free space to transmit data between two points. The technology is useful where the physical connections by the means of fiber optic cables are impractical due to high costs or other considerations."Free space" means air, outer space, vacuum, or something similar. It is the opposite of a fiber optic cable or transmission line. Free-space optical links can be implemented using infrared laser light, although low-data-rate communication over short distances is possible using LEDs. IrDA is a very simple form of free-space optical communications. Free Space Optics are additionally used for communications between spacecraft. Maximum range for terrestrial links is in the order of 2 to 3 km (1.2 to 1.9 mi), but the stability and quality of the link is highly dependent on atmospheric factors such as rain, fog, dust and heat. Amateur radio operators have achieved significantly farther distances (173 miles in at least one occasion) using incoherent sources of light from high-intensity LEDs. However, the low-grade equipment used limited bandwidths to about 4 kHz.

ABSTRACT:
In the era of technology, the voting machine, which is present today, is highly unsecured. Being in the age of Computers we are compromising the security by opting for Electronic voting machine because in the present electronic voting machine is not intelligent that is it cannot determine the person came for the voting is eligible or not . that mean the whole control is kept

in the hand of voting in charge officer. One more risk with the present voting machine is that any body can increase the vote count, since the count is present in the machine itself. In proposed machine that is Global Wireless E-Voting . In this the machine is made intelligent which can determine the eligibility of the voter and differ two candidates by scanning the eye pattern and also the vote count is not kept into the same machine itself instead of it it is store in the remote server by converting it into radio waves. Here there is no chance of increasing the vote count of machine. Even in case of damage to voting machine there will not be harm to continuity of the election process, so that we can avoid corruption.

HIGH VOLTAGE DIRECT CURRENT TRANSMISSION

T.HARIKA 09A51A0242 EEE I.JYOSHNA 09A51A0240 EEE

ABSTRACT:
High-voltage, direct current (HVDC) electric power transmission system uses direct current for the bulk transmission of electrical power, in contrast with the more common alternating current systems. For long-distance transmission, HVDC systems may be less expensive and suffer lower electrical losses. For underwater power cables , HVDC avoids the heavy currents required by the cable capacitance . For shorter distances, the higher cost of DC conversion equipment compared to an AC system may still be warranted, due to other benefits of direct current links. HVDC allows power transmission between unsynchronized AC distribution systems, and can increase system stability by preventing cascading failures from propagating from one part of a wider power transmission grid to another.

MAGNETIC LEVITATION
I.JYOSHNA, H.SOWJANYA EEE 3RD YEAR ADITYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGAMENT ippili.jyoshna@gmail.com soujanyahanumanthu@yahoo.com

ABSTRACT:
MAGNETIC LEVITATION It is use of magnetic fields to levitate a metallic object .By manipulating magnetic fields and controlling their forces an object can be levitated. Because of the growing need for quicker and more efficient methods for moving people and goods, researchers have turned to a new technique, one using electromagnetic rails and trains. This rail system is referred to as magnetic levitation, or maglev. Maglev is a generic term for any transportation system in which vehicles are suspended and guided by magnetic forces. Instead of engines, maglev vehicles use electromagnetism to levitate (raise) and propel the vehicle. Alternating current creates a magnetic field that pushes and pulls the vehicle which weighs almost about 1500 tonnes and keeps it above the support structure, called a guide way. Another major application of magnetic levitation is ELEKTROMAG. "ELEKTROMAG"-- Magnetic Sheet Floaters have been designed for easy handling of stacked sheets in production jobs.

MICRO CORONA MOTOR

RADHASAMEERA ANAKAPALLI - radhasameera.3e@gmail.com 2. POTNURU SOWJANYA B .Tech 3rd year EEE Sri Sivani College of engineering

ABSTRACT:
A micro corona motor was fabricated and tested. Intense electric fields at sharp stator electrodes ionize air molecules, and ionized charges are transferred onto the rotor surface. Coulomb repulsion between rotor and electrodes rotates and levitates the rotor. Important design parameters, such as electrode spacing, air gap, and electrode-tilt angle, were studied using an electrostatic field simulator. For good performance, the stators electrodes should be axially thick and have sharp tips. Therefore, X-ray lithography was adopted for precise, high aspect ratio characteristics. To avoid the fabrication difficulty of a membrane X-ray mask, a built-on X-ray mask technique was employed with negative-toned SU-8 Photo resist. Speed and torque of a fabricated micro motor were measured. High rotating speed (>104 rpm) was obtained with several hundred DC volts applied. Using the spin-down method, the torque was estimated in the order of 10 nN m. For over 20 million cycles, the motor showed good stability with no additional control action.

ABSTRACT:
Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) are small integrated devices or systems that combine electrical and mechanical components. They range in size from the sub micrometer (or sub micron) level to the millimeter level, and there can be any number, from a few to millions, in a particular system. MEMS extend the fabrication techniques developed for the integrated circuit industry to add mechanical elements such as beams, gears, diaphragms, and springs to devices. Examples of MEMS device applications include inkjet-printer cartridges, accelerometers, miniature robots, microengines, locks, inertial sensors, microtransmissions, micromirrors, micro actuators, optical scanners, fluid pumps, transducers, and chemical, pressure and flow sensors. New applications are emerging as the existing technology is applied to the miniaturization and integration of conventional devices. These systems can sense, control, and activate mechanical processes on the micro scale, and function individually or in arrays to generate effects on the macro scale. The micro fabrication technology enables fabrication of large arrays of devices, which individually perform simple tasks, but in combination can accomplish complicated functions.

ABSTRACT:
The energy consumption of a country is a measure of economic growth. The energy resources in our country are numerous. We are mainly depending upon fossil fuel which may deplete at the end of 21st century. The energy crisis is due to the increase in population and increasing living standards of human beings. Increase in population demands more energy for making work, more easily and effectively. To meet the energy crisis we have to go for alternative sources of energy like solar, potential. The power from sun interrupted by the earth is approximately 1.8 X 1011 MW. This is many thousands of times more than commercial energy sources on earth. There are various methods for solar energy utilization like thermal, Wave Ocean, biomass, water etc. among all these methods photovoltaic conversion is a direct method of conversion of solar energy into electrical energy. When radiation falls on the PV cell it is absorbed and electron hole pairs are created. When external electric circuit is completed the electrons starts moving towards P-type terminal. The photovoltaic cell has no moving parts and it can convert light at room temperature into electric power.

ABSTRACT:
Power line communication (PLC) presents an interesting and economical solution for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR). If an AMR system via PLC is set in a power delivery system, a detection system for illegal electricity usage may be easily added in the existing PLC network. In the detection system, the second digitally energy meter chip is used and the value of energy is stored. The recorded energy is compared with the value at the main kilo Watt-hour meter. In the case of the difference between two recorded energy data, an error signal is generated and transmitted via PLC network. The detector and control system is proposed. The architecture of the system and their critical components are given. The measurement results are given. This paper describes detector system for illegal electricity usage using the power lines based on the research worktaking place at the Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Bangalore. The target of this study is to discover new and possible solutions for this problem.

POWER QUALITY CONTROL

ABSTRACT:
Maintaining a reliable supply of electricity is an absolute requirement for production of the goods and services that fuel our economy, yet it is often one of the most difficult problems faced. The requirement to improve productivity is forcing into the difficult dilemma of how best to balance the need for reliability with the demand to reduce costs for energy-hungry profit centers. Unfortunately, confusion over deregulation threatens to further erode energy reliability as a direct consequence of power interruptions, voltage sags or other power quality problems. The increased use of sensitive electronic equipment, with its stringent input power requirements, has forced companies to place greater emphasis on the quality and reliability of their energy supply.

SECURE NETWORKING INTERFACE USING CLOUD COMPUTING

ABSTRACT:
If you are going to move all of your information to data centers situated outside your company, then security should be of utmost importance. Lost control comes with handing over your data and information. Depending on third-party to ensure the security and confidentiality of data and information. If your cloud host disappears, where does your information go?The most challenge ahead Cloud Computing is security. Is there any guarantee that our data cannot be accessed by unauthorized user? How users can trust providers to control their data? How we can encrypt our data safety? As we talked about, due to losing control, we must assign the control to third party in the Cloud, so there is one question, is there any reliance on the third party? As Ipv62, for Cloud Computing we must undertake the cost of transition, so after that we can save money in the Cloud. Furthermore we must transfer our users to Cloud Computing. In 1990s, users didnt have motive to be familiar with Internet. Now we must be grafter in the relation between users and Cloud Computing.Cloud Computing is, quite simply, impossible if you cantconnect to the Internet. Because you use the Internet to connect to both your applications and documents . Thus in this article we discuss all the above stated points.

SINGLE ELECTRON TRANSISTOR

T.Ramesh, 4th B.Tech EEE Thandra Paparaya Institute of Science & Technology

ABSTRACT:
When electrons are allowed to tunnel to metallic leads a single electron transistor (SET) is created. This transistor turns on and off again every time one electron is added to the isolated

region. Whereas we can understand conventional transistors using classical concepts, the SET is quantum mechanical in an essential way. In fact, there is a close analogy between the confined electrons inside an SET and an atom. In this review, the physics underlying the operation of SETs is explained. The name single electron transistor comes from the observation that the transistor turns on and off again every time a single electron is added to it. The single electron transistor is a new type of switching device that uses controlled electron tunneling to amplify current. In 1909, Millikan first illustrated the manipulation of single electrons; however the single-electron device cannot be implemented in solid state circuit until late1980s, due to limited fabrication techniques. SEDs have already been applied in several important scientific experiments and are feasible in unique scientific instrumentation and metrology. In addition, some exciting ideas may revolute logic and memory design in silicon-based circuit design area . Furthermore, it has been shown the promising future that replacing silicon transistors with single-electron transistors (SETs).

SKINPUT: SKIN AS INPUT SURFACE

SRILAKSHMI.E SRIVIDHYA.K 3rd B-TECH Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering GMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

ABSTRACT:
Skinput which marries the words skin and input is a technology with specialized sensors that gauge vibrations happening inside of the human body. A tap on the wrist or finger can be read and classified as a certain command and then matched with interactive activities. We collect these signals using a novel array of sensors worn as an armband. This approach provides an always available, naturally portable, and on-body finger input system. Skinput is a technology that appropriates the human body for acoustic transmission, allowing the skin to be used as an input surface. For example, a tap on the finger could potentially send a signal to turn on your TV set as your enter your home. Skinput technology explores the ideas of using other surfaces ranging from tabletops to the skin on his arm as a keypad for various electronics, ranging from smart phones to video game devices.

Tapping on different parts of your arm creates different kinds of vibrations depending on the amount and shape of bones, tendons and muscle in that specific area. Skinput sensors can track those vibrations using an armband and discern where the user tapped. When fitted with a Pico-projector, the Skinput system could display an image of a digital keyboard on a person's forearm. These devices seek to move beyond the mouse and physical keyboard, letting people communicate with their gadgets by gesturing, using sign language or, in the case of Skinput, tapping on their hands, fingers and forearms.

SOLAR TSUNAMI
T.VISWANATH 3rd EIE

ABSTRACT:
The Earth could be hit by a 'solar tsunami' anytime now as an unusually complex magnetic eruption on the Sun has flung a large cloud of electrically charged particles towards our planet, scientists have warned.Several satellites, including NASA's new Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), recorded on Sunday a small solar flare erupting above sunspot 1092, the size of the Earth.

The satellites also recorded a large filament of cool gas stretching across the Sun's northern hemisphere also exploded into space. The explosion, called a coronal mass ejection, was aimed directly towards Earth, which then sent a 'solar tsunami' racing 93 million miles across space.
