Introduction:

Meri Awaz is an independent, non-political, non-profitable and non-governmental organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, working for social and economic development of deprived, neglected and oppressed communities in the urban & semi urban areas of Pakistan beyond the boundaries of caste, creed, sex and religion.

To make each deprived family unit sustainable, with special emphasis on women, by providing them all the required facilities for their social and economic uplift.

Mission
Our mission is to make households, in the poorest communities, sustainable by focusing on their economy, health, education, legal rights awareness and entrepreneurial development skills. We intend to bring lasting changes by: Alleviating poverty through the provision of interest free microfinance services to the people falling below the line of poverty which would in turn assist them in the creation of income and employment generation. Transformation of the oppressed class into a dynamic group thus enabling them to become sustainable and an effective member of the society. Creating opportunities for the local microenterprises. Capacity building according to their potential and providing them with financial assistance as well as economic opportunities in the market. Delivering relief in emergencies. Addressing discrimination in all its forms.

Our focus is on marginalized and extremely poor people of the society, enabling them to have equitable access to basic services with dignity without any discrimination on sex, ethnicity, religion, cast and creed. We envision a country in which, people falling below the Poverty Line, are empowered to participate effectively in all activities of life thus promoting human respect and dignity for all.

Objectives:
We focus on targeting the entire house hold while making women focal point of contact for our service delivery. To provide people with interest free loans, Qarz-e-hasna, thus relieving them of any form of interest.

Help people understand their rights, both as a human being as well as the legal rights, by means of awareness sessions.

Enable people to realize their true potential through training programs and help them excel by alize investing their time and energies in the skill that they are good at.

Bring the craftsmen closer to their target markets and clients by developing linkages. 1) Enterprise Development Enterprise Development Program stems from the core issue of helping people reduce their poverty and economic disparity. It opens doors to economic freedom and self-sufficiency, channeling irrepressible desire of the poor to improve their situation and take responsibility for their livelihood and security. By investing in micro-enterprise, is to invest in the future of poor families, to lift them out of poverty. Under this program Meri Awaz focus to the potential women providing with all necessary assistance for setup a sustainable enterprise. 2) Financial Assistance Microfinance has proven itself from previous decades as the most appropriate poverty alleviation in the world while several structural short comings made the challenging situation in many parts of the world. Meri Awaz analyzes this phenomena and lunch the Microfinance under Shariah compliant Mechanism which over comes all the issues and challenge faced by traditional Microfinance. Recently Meri Awaz offers Qard e Hassan (interest free loan) and Murabaha (cost plus Sale) 3) Legal Aid Legal aid is the provision of assistance to people otherwise unable to afford legal representation and access to the court system. Legal aid is regarded as central in providing access to justice by ensuring equality before the law, the right to counsel and the right to a fair trial. By providing this facility Meri Awaz facilitate to the community by providing all require legal assistance as per the vision of the organization. 4) Education Meri Awaz believe on quality education is the right of every child in the world toward the achievement of this objective Meriawaz setup a educational program Muaawan which provide the facility to the deserving children in School fee, Admission fee, Uniforms and books and setting up a network of Meriawaz Free Computer Center around the country with following facilities.
