Proposal for Final year (7th & 8th Sem) students.

We,Technopus Web Solutions Pvt. Ltd., are pleased to introduce IDP - Industry Defined Projects for final year CE/IT students. Within a short span of time, Technopus has emerged as a leading name in professional development in IT field in Gujarat. As per GTU guidelines we have concluded information which will be helpful to students of CE/IT. Semester 7th, teaching scheme is 0-0-4, with 4 credits worth of 150 marks. Out of 150 marks, 50 marks are to be given for Problem Definition. The college, through internal evaluation, will assess the Industry Defined problems, submitted by students during the first week of the seventh semester. The remaining 100 marks are for the practical exam, to be conducted by the University. Semester 8th, teaching scheme for the project is 0-0-8 or 0-0-12 with 8 or 12 credits, depending upon the branch. During the 8th semester, the project will carry 400 marks. In the 8th Semester out of 400 marks 300 marks are for the practical exam by the University and 100 marks are for Internal Practical exam. Each final year Project will be a Major Project. It will be divided into two Semesters of work. GTU Innovation Council will award for the best 1000 problems/project definitions. As per GTU guidelines, students who have already undergone the training or industrial visit can define a project definition from the respective industries, based on the training or industrial visit.

Project Part-I
From the starting of this program student will be provided a unique problem definition. The problem would be research work or web application as per students choice. Student need to attend the Saturday submission. On each Saturday 4 hour lecture will be conducted. On this four hour students need to explain the work carried out by them in weekdays, which will be reviewed by the experienced person from the company and they will provide necessary guideline to the students for further work. Students will be guided for Part-I and Part -II with heavy use of past experience of Technopus Websolutions pvt ltd., systematically arranged.

In Part-I student will gain,

Ability to solve complex programming definitions, to break large project into smaller and manageable parts. Learn techniques of: Requirement Gathering and Analysis, Requirement Specification, Design, Project Management, etc. Part-I will emphasis more on UML diagrams, due to which students will commit less number of errors.

Project Part-II
Students need to join Technopus Websolutions Pvt. Ltd. for regular basis and have to accomplish the project. Technopus Websolutions Pvt. Ltd. will provide each student an experienced guide and resource for the same. Part-II will commence with expert talks on technology stack on which they will be working.

In Part-II student will perform,

Systematic development approach, Database design, Interface design & development. Integration of modules, testing.

To prepare Project report and Presentation, Technopus Websolutions Pvt. Ltd. will bring experts from diverse academia; they will provide complete guidelines throughout the document engineering. Work carried out by students will be evaluated and satisfactory students will be offered job by Technopus Websolutions Pvt. Ltd. .
