Executive Technical (South), Core Operations Responsibilities: Acting as team lead Core Operations. Responsible for overall operations and maintenance of South Data Core Network including operations and maintenance of Access layer devices (Cisco ME-3400 switches), Distribution layer devices (Cisco 7606 routers) and Core layer devices (Cisco 7609 routers, Cisco 6509 Cat switches and Cisco ASA 5540 firewalls) and associated power and air-conditioning system. Carry out investigation and resolution of IP/MPLS network related faults/issues and follow up with preventive measures. Conduct regular review of IP/MPLS network performance including hardware and software and take necessary preventive actions. Coordination with down-stream Customers to resolve their connectivity, routing and other network-related issues. Shaping and load balancing of traffic on International and Domestic links for their optimal utilization using IGP and BGP attributes.
