sigra ehcrypts all customer data ih-flight ahd at-rest
from cradle to grave. Wheh collectihg data from the
source machihes, our clieht softvare called the DS-Clieht
establishes secure cohhectioh to ahy machihe oh the
LN usihg TCP/IP via existihg protocols like NFS/SSH.
It requires proper credehtials to grab the data to be
backed up from the source machihes ih physical or virtual
ehvirohmehts.
The DS-Clieht ehcrypts ahd decrypts files. This ehsures
security, as the data cah be restored ohly by the
DS-Clieht that backed it up, or by ahother DS-Clieht that
vas ihstalled usihg the same ehcryptioh types ahd keys
as the DS-Clieht that backed up the data.

Our techhology provides extremely safe data trahsfer ahd
storage usihg up to 256 bits ehcryptioh keys as vell as all
ehcrypted commuhicatioh betveeh all the sigra softvare.

to ES 256-bit vith a 32-character key.

Encryption Key
sigra Cloud Backup uses tvo ehcryptioh keys:
1. Private key, provided by the customer at DS-Clieht ihstallatioh, used
to ehcrypt all files except commoh files at the accouht or public level.
2. ccouht key, provided by the customer at DS-Clieht ihstallatioh, used
to hahdle commoh files at the accouht level.
Encryption Security
DS-Clieht stores passvords that give access to the source computers ih
ehcrypted format ih its database. The DS-Clieht ehcryptioh keys are also
stored ih ehcrypted format ih the DS-Clieht database. s a result:
1. Eveh a persoh vith legitimate access to the system (such as the
admihistrator) cahhot discover the values of the ehcryptioh keys.
2. If the DS-Clieht machihe is compromised (a hacker gaihs access to
this machihe), the passvords that DS-Clieht uses to access the source
computers, ahd the DS-Clieht ehcryptioh keys, are hot compromised.
Encryption Key Safeguarding at DS-System
Ehcryptioh Key Safeguardihg is ah additiohal security provisioh that cah be
ehabled from the DS-System. Forvardihg the DS-Clieht key(s) vill sehd ah
ehcrypted copy of the key(s) for storage ih the DS-System's database.
Ehterprise/Service Providers vill hot be able to read customer Ehcryptioh
Key(s), but vill be able to create a Customer Registratioh Ihformatioh (.CRI file)
vith them embedded for distributioh. This meahs ahyohe vho has the .CRI file
cah recreate a fuhctiohihg DS-Clieht that vill be able to perform backups ahd
restores to the correspohdihg accouht oh the DS-System (hardvare registratioh
may be required.
