Roll-Up Serranda has opened a new branch in

KwaZulu-Natal, based in Pinetown. Newly ap-
pointed branch manager, Rob Chivers, is a familiar
face to both Trellicorians as well as customers as
he handled much of Trellidor‟s commercial work
while Trellidor franchise manager.

“I‟m finding a lot of synergies out there as many of

the RUS clients also purchase Trellidors, depend-
ing on their requirements,” said Rob.

Another familiar face is that of Barry Tatton, RUS

sales consultant. Barry previously ran a Durban
Branch of RUS before moving to Autogate Access
Control Systems, here in Pinetown.

Coroma Knysna recently became sponsors of the Knysna Men's Hockey XI, keeping the
brand highly visible throughout the season. Said franchise owner Brian Elliott: “The
team has 5 players in the South Western Country Districts side and has started the
season off with a bang, which is very positive for us. They‟ve played and won six
matches to date, scoring 40 goals with only 6 against them.” His son Bryn Elliott is the
team‟s player/coach. Bryn is also an integral part of Brian‟s Trellicor franchise.

Trellidor staff showed wonderful support for the Sunflower Fund’s “Rope of Hope”
fundraiser by purchasing 50 bandanas and knotting them together in a rope, join-
ing many others that were wrapped around East Coast Radio House in Umhlanga
Rocks.

“It was a fun campaign and our staff really enjoyed getting involved, especially
since the funds go to such a worthy cause,” said Charlene Botha, Trellicor Group
brand and public relations manager.

The Sunflower Fund was established to help expand the South African bone Marrow
Registry to at least 100 000 donors across all ethnic groups. The chance of finding
a matching donor for those ill with leukaemia and other life threatening blood disor-
ders is 1:100 000.

About 75% of patients do not have a suitable match within the family and have to
search for a non-related donor if they are to have any chance of survival. The larger
the bone marrow registry, the faster and greater one‟s chances of finding a match,
particularly in a country such as South Africa with so many different ethnic groups.

Have you ordered Access Guard for

your showroom yet? Those who have are seeing good sales. In the
picture to the left, Alvin Marshall has used Access Guard to partition off
his carousel stand very effectively, while still using it as a sales tool.
“We‟re using it in front of our stores area so that we can keep our roller
shutter open during the day as well as to show customers how versa-
tile the product is. We‟ve sold Access Guards to Pick „n Pay to close off
liquor aisles on Sundays, to OR Tambo airport to shut off the restau-
rants after hours, to retail outlets that use them to show people where
to queue & to shopping malls that want to safety close off areas where
