Introduction
Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. It is distinguished from other ways of addressing such problems by its critical, generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument. The word "philosophy" comes from the Greek philosophia which literally means "love of wisdom".Philosophy is a search for wisdom and truth. Philosophy directs education by providing certain guidelines. Education is application of philosophy or philosophy of education is applied philosophy. Educational philosophy is application of philosophy, in an attempt to meet the challenges faced by the education system. Education and philosophy are two sides of a same coin.
