21st Century Museum Professionals (CFDA No. 45.307) Purpose: To increase the capacity of museums by improving the knowledge and skills of museum professionals in multiple institutions and support the development and implementation of classes, seminars, and workshops; resources to support leadership development; collection, assessment, development, and/or dissemination of information that leads to better museum operations; activities that strengthen the use of contemporary technology tools to deliver programs and services; the enhancement of pre-professional training programs; and the development of internship and fellowship programs. Chemistry and Materials Research in Cultural Heritage Science (CFDA No. 47.049) Purpose: To enhance opportunities for collaborative activities between conservation scientists, chemists, and materials scientists to address grand challenges in the field of science of cultural heritage; to develop new and improved analytical techniques and instruments with high sensitivity and spatial resolution (large and small scale) for restricted volume and/or standoff detection of component materials, degradation products, and deterioration markers that are suitable for nondestructive analysis of cultural heritage objects; to study dynamic changes leading to degradation of cultural heritage objects; to design new multifunctional treatment materials for cultural heritage objects; and to develop new theoretical models to predict dynamic processes in cultural heritage objects that lead to their degradation while taking into account their molecular and materials properties and their surface and bulk interactions with environmental perimeters. Eligibility: Nonprofit, non-academic organizations such as independent museums, observatories, research labs, professional societies, and similar organizations in the U.S. associated with educational or research activities; and universities and colleges, including community colleges. Choice Neighborhood Implementation Grants (CFDA No. 14.889) Purpose: To transform distressed public and assisted housing into energy efficient, mixed-up income housing that is physically and financially viable over the long term; support positive outcomes for families who live in the target development(s) and the surrounding neighborhood, particularly outcomes related to residents health, safety, employment, mobility, and education; and to transform distressed, high-poverty neighborhoods into viable, mixed-up income neighborhoods with access to well-functioning services, high quality public schools and education programs, high quality early learning programs and services, public assets, public transportation, and improved access to jobs.

Genomic Science: Biosystems Design to Enable Next-Generation Bio-fuels (CFDA No. 81.049) Purpose: To develop modeling algorithms and innovative bio-systems design technologies to define, build, and apply functional biological modules for the generation of novel biological systems that advance toward the production of bio-fuels; and for plant systems design for bio-energy to develop novel technologies to re-design bio-energy crops that can grow in marginal environments while producing high yield of biomass that can be easily converted to bio-fuels. Higher Education Challenge Grants Program (CFDA No. 10.217) Purpose: To address a state, regional, national, or international educational need; involve a creative or non-traditional approach toward addressing that need that can serve as a model to others; and encourage and facilitate better working relationships in the university science and education community, as well as between universities and the private sector, to enhance program quality and supplement available resources and result in benefits that will likely transcend the project duration and USDA support. National Science Foundation Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) (CFDA No. 47.076) Purpose: To support scholarships for academically talented students demonstrating financial need, enabling them to enter the STEM workforce or STEM graduate school following completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or graduate-level degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics disciplines. Reintegration of Ex-Offenders Adult Generation 5 (CFDA No. 17.270) Purpose: To provide pre-release and post-release services to ex-offenders returning to high-poverty, high-crime communities. These services will include job training, and assistance connecting to supportive services such as housing and substance abuse programs and mental health treatment. The Rural Energy for America Program Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements (CFDA No. 10.868) Purpose: To provide for the

development and construction of renewable energy systems and for energy efficiency improvement projects; grants for conducting energy audits; grants for conducting renewable energy development assistance; and grants for conducting renewable energy system feasibility studies. To provide funds to agricultural producers and rural small businesses to install renewable energy systems and energy efficiency improvements. Eligibility: Individuals; small businesses including agricultural producers and rural small businesses; and all agricultural producers, farmers, and ranchers who gain 50% or more of their gross income from the agricultural operations. Wrongful Conviction Review Program (CFDA No. 16.746) Purpose: To provide high quality and efficient representation for potentially wrongfully convicted defendants in cases of post-conviction claims of innocence. Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations with missions dedicated (in whole or in part) to exonerating the innocent and to state or local public defender offices; public and nonprofit organizations that have experience and expertise in providing representation to wrongfully convicted defendants in post-conviction claims of innocence cases.
