Neuchatel, Switzerland, February 08, 2012 -- Colibrys SA, a world leading manufa cturer of sensors for precision navigation and seismic monitoring announced toda y their decision to relocate locally, some 35kms distant in the Y-Parc at Yverdo n-les-Bains, Canton Vaud, Switzerland. The relocation which encompasses all parts of the Colibrys business will be comp leted by mid 2013. The project is supported by some 10mio USD investment in supp ort of dedicated new clean-rooms for the manufacture of 6 inch silicon wafers; a dvanced assembly and test capabilities as well as all systems design, product en gineering and administration activities. Colibrys will benefit enormously in the medium term from this decision, profitin g from substantial rent reductions whilst benefiting from being housed in extrem ely modern eco-friendly premises. The new premises owned by Meigerhorn were cons tructed within the heart of the Y-Parc technology centre in 2010 targeted specif ically to house multiple high tech SME businesses.
