Getting ready to start setting

1:take out the GPM2000, connect the IO cable , connect GPRS antenna and GPS antenna. Please find the power to connect to IO cable to provide power source for GPM2000 by connecting RED and Black cable like in this picture

2.take down bottom cover of GPM2000. insert your SIM Card. 3. turn on the power source for GPM2000 then you can see the LED lighted at PWR in red color. 4. power off.

Installation of SIM card setting and GPM2000 setting

1. 2. Use connection cable. One micro fit side connect to GPM2000 and RS232 DB9 connect to your PCs COM port. open file SETUP SOFTWARE P2PServer .exe , like the picture shown below Normally JUST ONLY SETUP APN . Sometime need setup ID Other are factory Default Setting.

it will show firmwares version and please check out the LED on the GPM2000 PWR( Red) fix lighted means power is on. GPS Green slow flashing lighted means GPS is getting the signal Fix lighted means GPS is ready. GSM Yellow slow flashing lighted means GPRS is connecting to Server Fix lighted means GRPS has connected to Server.

Find the power source in your car. Depends on different carUsually looking for fuse box. Fuse Box use accessories: IO power wiring Cableto connect the power source for GPM2000.

There is two ways to connect the power source Red cable (+)from IO Cable goes Car battery, Yellow Cable (+) goes to ACC Both Red cable (+) and Yellow Cable (+) from IO Cable, goes to ACC Find the suitable place to fit the GPM2000 unit like glove compartment Or under the steering wheel to hide the GOM2000 unit.

There is two ways to fasten GPM2000 please make sure the GPM2000 will not fall down by the shakiness from your car. a: use the cable tie b: use the 3M dual-lock tape. 3. Installing other Accessories

GPS Antenna GPS antenna cant work under any cover upon it, please fasten it with a antenna holder ( Accessories pack) on the windshield in the middle, GPS antenna top must be facing up to the sky, do not facing down to dashboard! Also adjust the angle 12~15 of the antenna holder to prevent the antenna face up to the top of the car.! GSM Antenna GSM is much easier than GPS antenna. You can put where ever you want to. Better not stacking with GPS antenna. Speaker and Microphone As you can see in the picture below, Speaker should be placed as possible as near the Driver side of dashboard to get the better sounds effect, but not blocking drivers view! Microphone should be placed on the top higher away from speaker, remember the Microphone must point to the drivers side to get the better sounds effect.

SOS button Cableoptional You can choose where ever to place this SOS cable. Where for driver can easily reach and activate SOS signal.

Activate the internal battery, please use the Jumper in Accessories pack and follow the picture below to activate the battery. After you placed the jumper on GPM2000, you will see the power LED (Red ) is light on.

help by using PROFESSOR fleet management system DEMO version checking the fleet management system has your car show on the map, if it does show on the map, that means the GPS signal and GSM signal of GPM2000 you have installed in your car is working. use your cell-phone to dial the predefined phone number you had installed in GPM2000, then you will hear the speaker in the car has ringing tone and after few ringing tone, the GPM2000 will pick up the phone call automatically then you can try to speak through Microphone in car. If not, please check the number you have set in GPM2000 is the right one, and check the speaker and Microphone are well connected to GPM2000. push the SUS button, (if you had installed the SOS cable to GPM2000) then check your cell-phone have received the SOS SMS from GPM2000If not, please check you have set your phone number into GPM2000 to send out the SMS message. finish, you can now testing the GPM2000 with your car and running..
