I have devised one more strategy which works very well for Intraday Trading.

Only thing you have to do is to visit nseindia.com website, "Go to the previous version" on top of the page and get quote for the Nifty Future. On the lower side of the page you will find Daily Volatility of the Nifty. Yesterday it was 1.40% and Nifty Future closing was at 5311. 1.40% of 5311 is 74.35...round it off to 75. Now add and subtract 75 from the closing, we get the figure of 5386 and 5236 respectively. We must buy when price hits 5236 and sell at 5386. However as the gap between 5386 and 5236 is quite high, I advise to take half of 75 which is 37.50 or 38. Now add and subtract 38 from the closing, we get the figure of 5349 and 5273. Today when price hit 5273, I sold Nifty Futures and exited towards closing at 5230, thus making a cool profit of 43 points.

This is based a new method which is still under study for trading in NIFTY. I am posting it here purely for academic purpose. I will update the results everyday evening once the market closes. Nifty Close on 22/11/11 Tomorro ws Trend Tomorro ws High Tomorro ws Low Probability %

4812.35

UP

4863

4795

80.0

Method to trade : 1) If the open is below the LOW level and cross it and move upwards, then BUY 2) If the open is above the HIGH level and cross it and move downwards, then SELL 3) Entry to be made whichever the case comes first.

4) 5) 6) 7)

In either case, the STOP LOSS will be 13 points If the stop loss is hit, then there will not be any trade for the day This method is applicable only for the first trade of any day. Profit booking can be made once you get 20 to 25 points or more

This is not a trading call. This post is purely for observatory purpose. Happy trading!! Kripakar kumble The trading zone for NIFTY tomorrow ie. on 15/12/2011: Nifty Close as on 14/12/11 4763.25 Tomorro ws Trend UP Tomorro ws High 4806 (+/5) Tomorro ws Low 4744 (+/5) Probabilit y% 90

This is an effort to find out a new trading method, to get a safe trade which can give a decent return in a single trade. The method is still under observation. Method to trade : 1) Enter the trade only if NIFTY enter the above trading zone either from upper side or from lower side whichever comes first once the market opens. 2) If the open is below the LOW level, and cross it and move upwards, or the open is just above the LOW move downward , touch the LOW level and move upwards, then BUY 3) If the open is above the HIGH level, and cross it and move downwards or open is just below the HIGH move upward, touch the HIGH level and move downwards, then SELL 4) 5) +/- 5 points difference at the entry point is valid. Entry to be made whichever the case comes first

6) In either case, the STOP LOSS will be 13 points from the trading zone boundary 7) 8) If the stop loss is hit, then there will not be any other trade for the day This method is applicable only for the first trade of any day.

9) Profit booking can be made once you get 20 to 25 points, or else a trailing stop loss may be put to protect at least 12 points profit and wait for higher levels. 10) Any trade which gives 20 points or more will be considered as successful trade and any profit below 20 points will be considered as partial success trade. 11) Stop Loss hit trades will be considered as failed trades This is not a trading call to anyone. This post is purely for observatory purpose.

Happy trading!! Kripakar kumble Theory is simple. 1) Take the closing price of the scrip of any day. 2) Add all the digits of the closing price including the paise also. Eg. If the closing price is Rs 1195.55, then 1+1+9+5+5+5 = 26 Eg. If the closing price is Rs 821.00 then 8+2+1+0+0 = 11 3) If the total comes to less than or equal (<=) to 13, then BUY next day @0.8% less than the previous days close. 4) If the total comes to greater than or equal (>=) to 23, then SELL next day @0.8% more than the previous days close. Dont follow this method blindly. Do your study and take your own decision. If you find this method interesting and if you have any idea to improve this , then pl leave message in this thread. I will be more happy if u could do that. Kripakar kumble For a day trading you can always keep a Target price of 1.5% or 2.5% from yesterdays close. And STOP loss around 1.5% or 2% from yesterdays close.

sir think about this addition.. 23.6% of 75 = 18 approx. so buy above (5311+18) with sl -- (5322-18) Volatility trading system

hi Karan ji the Exit strategy is not explained here. I presume the following scenario 1) If the trade is "BUY", then the trader would see the opening next day, and if he is in profit then put a "profit locking stop loss" according to his convenience and wait for higher levels and square off according to his comfort levels. 2) if the trade is "SELL", and in the opening if the price is lower and if he is in profit, then trader has to put a "profit locking stop loss" and wait for still lower levels and accordingly square off at his comfort levels. But if this is the scenario, then the profit what is mentioned in the table is not possible in most of the cases. It is also possible that, in many cases, in the

opening the trend may be in the opposite direction and trades would have hit the stop loss also. Is this explanation correct Siddharth ji ? From : Siddharth V at 09:00 AM - Dec 09, 2011 (7 days ago)

IN THIS STRATEGY KEEP STOP LOSS AS YESTERDAY'S PIVOT POINT (PP)... THE PP BASED ON YESTERDAY NIFTY SPOT HIGH, LOW & CLOSE IS 4971.38 (ROUND OFF SAY 4972)..... AS PER THIS STRATEGY WE WENT SHORT YESTERDAY JUST BEFORE CLOSE (I HAVE SHORTED NIFTY FUT AT 4948)..... ACCORDINGLY YOU CAN KEEP A SL OF 4972 (SPOT) FOR TODAY AND EXIT IF NIFTY SPOT CROSSES 4972 AND TRADES ABOVE IT FOR SOMETIME... FOR TODAY TRADE WITH THE TREND....IF TREND IS DOWN, REMAIN SHORT ....

TODAY NIFTY SPOT HIGH = 5011.90, LOW = 4916.70 & MARKET PRICE AT 3.20 PM IS 4935.05 SO PP IS 4954.55 AS CURRENT PRICE IS BELOW PP IT IS AN INDICATION TO GO SHORT FOR TOMORROW.... SHORT NIFTY FUTURES AT AROUND 3.28 PM
From : Siddharth V at 10:11 PM - Nov 30, 2011 (15 days ago)

THE STRATEGY IS QUITE SIMPLE... AT 3.20PM TAKE NIFTY SPOT HIGH, LOW AND CLOSE FOR THE DAY AND CALCULATE PIVOT POINT (PP). PIVOT POINT (PP) = (HIGH + LOW + CLOSE) / 3 IF LTP SAY AROUND 3.20/3.25 PM IS ABOVE PP...BUY NIFTY FUTURES FOR THE NEXT DAY....IF LTP IS BELOW PP SELL NIFTY FUTURES FOR NEXT DAY...

I HOPE THE STRATEGY IS CLEAR....
