Nursing Considerations History and Physical Assessment. Arrange for culture and sensitivity tests before beginning therapy. Ensure that patient swallows ER tablets whole, do not cut, crush, or chew. Ensure patient is well hydrated. Encourage patient to complete full course of therapy.

Provide comfort measures and arrange for analgesics if headache occurs
TRIMETAZIDINE Drug Name Trimetazidine (Vastarel MR) Classifications Anti-ischemic Anti-anginal Indications Preventive treatment for episodes of angina pectoris (Chronic stable angina). Adjuvant symptomatic treatment for vertigo and tinnitus (noises detected by the ear whistling, buzzing, which do not correspond to any exterior sounds). Adjuvant treatment of visual disorders of a circulatory origin. Contraindications
Do not take Vastarel MR if you are allergic to any of the constituents. This drug is generally not recommended during breast feeding
Nursing Considerations History and Physical Assessment. Monitor blood pressure and pulse rate before and after giving the meds. Notify prescribing signs of heart failure such as swelling of hands and feet or SOB.
