VT3936

The most soil-friendly and most manoeuvrable self-propeller in its class

The VT3936 lays out a new dimension for self-propellers. The development of this four-wheeler concentrated mainly on weight distribution, manoeuvrability, comfort and ease of operation. The VT3936 differs in a great many ways from self-propellers currently on the market. The balanced weight distribution between front and rear axles means minimum pressure on the soil, even in combination with a slurry injector. In its class the VT3936 has the smallest turning circle, which makes it extremely compact and manoeuvrable. The low engine revs 1500 rpm give up to 33% savings on fuel. All the advantages offered by a four-wheeler are exploited to the full! There is a high level of comfort in the cabin thanks to the special suspension, the comfortable pneumatic sprung seat, air-conditioning, radio/CD player and the ergonomic dashboard.

Multifunctional
Its versatility makes it possible to deploy the VT3936 year-round. The three mounting variants are: front mounting, central mounting and rear mounting. The various mounting facilities make it possible to fit anything from a 17 m3 slurry tank, a dumper, a 50 m3 silage bunker and various machines front-mounted or rear-mounted. It is also possible for the four-wheel self-propeller to function as a lorry construction, for which Vredo has developed a patented steering system.

The VT3936s V6 Deutz motor has an electronic fuel pump. On the way to the field the motor works perfectly at around only 1500 rpm. This cuts the self-propellers fuel consumption by up to 33%. The drive is hydraulic-mechanical with steplessly variable speed from 0 to 40 km/h.

The description agile muscle-man can be applied to the VT3936 without exaggeration. Thanks to its four-wheel drive the self-propeller is extremely manoeuvrable. This means an outside turning circle of as little as 12.5 metres, with all wheels turning. The distribution of weight over the front and back axles is optimum and, in combination with the unique dog-walk system, ensures minimal soil compression and crop damage. In addition the VT3936 is responsibly shod with Michelin 1050/50 R32 tyres for the lowest soil compression factor and responsible tyre load with the lowest possible tyre pressure: 1 bar at cyclic loading. The vehicle is very stable thanks to its low centre of gravity.

Comfortable
The VT3936 cabin is a pleasant place for the driver to work. The front axle suspension combined with the cabin suspension with helical springs and shock absorbers and sprung lifting gear ensures a comfortable ride, both on the land and at higher road speeds. The operating panel is a well-designed ergonomic dashboard. Most of the functions used can be operated simply by means of the drive selector lever. Standard cabin equipment includes air conditioning, a comfortable pneumatic sprung Grammer drivers seat and a colour monitor for the rear view camera. The view from the cabin is excellent and is supplemented during evening and night work by xenon lamps with high light production on the front and rear. The engines low revs mean that the vehicle is as quiet as a whisper.
