How to Install:
Allow the PatientFilesLite installer to Run. Choose No Questions Asked Installation.

Click Yes I Do.

Once you see the Thanks button, just click it. You are done with the installation

You still need to configure it before you can use it. Please proceed with how to configure below

How to Configure:
1.Double click the Patient Files icon found at the desktop You will see a dialogue box same as below, just click OK. A nag screen will appear, just click OK. .

2. Then click x button

at upper right corner of the dialogue box below.

3.Click Configure at task bar, then click Other/Custom users,

5.Click Create New User button,

6.At the User Name erase CustomUser and type My Patients on the blank provided.

At the Path to PDB file, click the Browse button then click Local Drive C and under it look for MyPatients folder and single click it and click OK button..

Doing the above correctly will result to seeing C:\MyPatients in the blank for Path to PDB files as seen in the figure below:

At the User Type click the drop down menu and click Desktop Only

After doing all the above, below is how it must look. Click OK button found at the left lower corner.

Click File at the task bar and click Exit to close the application.

Double click the Patient Files icon again at the Desktop area to re-open and you will see the dialogue box below. Click the roll down menu and click My Patients (Desktop Only). And click OK Button.

Now click rmPatientFiles database to open it.

Click New, to open a new patient file.

If you will see a screen like the figure below, then you have configured it correctly.

How to Add a New Patient Record:

To add a new patient:

Double click Patient Files icon at the desktop to open the figure below. Click rmPatientFiles to open the list view (Figure 4b) Figure 4a

Figure 4b below is the list view of rmPatientFiles database. Here you will be able to see all the different names of your patients that you have added in this program. It is in alphabetical order and can be searched by just typing the first letter of the patients last name, To add one new patient click the New icon. Figure 4b

Type the last name then the first name on the blank provided for it. Personal is where you can encode the address, age, sex, birthday, contact numbers and companions. The Notes allows you to enter a text field by which you could add in information regarding your patients Past and present Medical History, Allergies, Family History, etc. Try to customize the shortcut pop-up (the encircled button below) in your practice. (note: you may be able to tap the shortcut popup several times and the common phrases will just add up .

I want to review the record of John Smith. What should I do?

To review the past admissions of a particular patient (ex.: John Smith) do the ff; 1. Open rmPatientFiles .

2. Look for the patient named John Smith. You can easily do it by entering the first 2 to 3 letters of his last name for quick search. So just type the letters SM at the Search bank. In the list view as seen below you may already some details of your patient, like telephone # or address. If you want to see what you saved in the notes area just click it to open the record.

The files you have in this program has a cross compatibility to common mobile gadgets like iPhone, Palm, Windows mobile, Blackberry or even iPad via the Handbase software installed in the devices mentioned. Thus allowing you to review your patients details while you are on the go! This feature is very important in which you cannot see in other EMR programs. Most of them can only run in Windows desktop but has no ability to transfer the files and be viewed in other platforms. 7. You may be able to export your files (ex. Admitted Patients details from May 1 to 31) to one tabular EXCEL file. Great for census presentation and filing! 8. It is designed to be applicable to both residents and consultants of any specialty and of any country! 9. Because it is powered by Handbase 4.0, you will be able to do the following:

a. I want to filter and view the details of all my presently admitted patients. b. I want to recall what vaccines had I scheduled to be used on May 5. c. I want to review the details of all the past admissions and visits of John Smith. d. I want to know how many patients that I saw who had bronchopneumonia for the whole year. e. I want to print the admitted record of John Smith. f. I want to know the total fees from my admissions for the month of June. g. I want to know who are the patients who hasnt paid me yet. h. I want to know who were the patients that I scheduled for follow-up today. i. All these and more...as you continue using it, you will realize all the other functions that will greatly help you! Understand particularly the FILTERING and the RUN REPORT functions and you will go a long way!
