QUESTIONNAIRE
ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-2012

1. Describe your leadership style. As a leader, I have always been approachable, friendly, calm and motivational. Everything is about building good relationships with your co-workers and constituents. This is a critical factor for them to respect you, feel you and eventually follow you. This builds some sort of connection that can take you to greater tides. 2. In your own words, what is BAC? Why does it exist? BAC represents the voice of the College of Business Administration student community. Its primary goal is to foster unity within and among its students, organizations, administration, faculty, and staff. It is a governing body that gives back to the college through a widearray of projects and events that is value adding and enriching ones experiences in college. 3. Cite one specific initiative you have taken, whether as a council member or not, that would show why you should be part of the BAC next year. I actively volunteered myself as a class president for both 99.1 and 99.2 this year. It wasnt easy. It is my responsibility to reacquaint the class and to ensure that everyone is informed about the schedule of exams and make-up classes. Being the class president had tested my patience, dedication and sense of responsibility. 4. Define your strengths and weaknesses. What measures will you undertake to improve your strengths and level your weaknesses?

PADERNAL, JULIUS MARTIN COUNCILOR

My 100% dedication, passion and commitment are probably my major strengths. When given a task, whether familiar or unfamiliar, I make it a point that I do everything I can. However, when given an unfamiliar task, I am always willing to learn and adjust. My major weaknesses would be being overly kind and generous sometimes. To overcome these, I would try to moderate my kindness to a certain level so that people wouldnt be able to abuse it. 5. How do you intend to get the full cooperation of the BA population once elected? Cite specific and sustainable programs to address this matter. Once elected, I intend to get the full cooperation of the BA population by leading by example. I would be a leader who wouldnt order people around. Who would want to cooperate with someone whos being bossy? I would make it a point that Id be very approachable, friendly and easy to talk to. Surveying the interest of the BA population would make BACs projects more relevant to them and thus this can somehow persuade them to cooperate. Afterwards, BAC can hold general assemblies every quarter to present its projects to the college so the BA population would be aware of them. In this way, they can freely express their interest and consequently their full cooperation. 6. Please state your opinion on the following subject matter. Given your desired BAC position, how will you resolve the corresponding issue in connection with your responsibility as a BAC member?

Rampant theft cases in the college

Stealing is almost inevitable in every situation and at the same time it is forever unacceptable. Reclaiming stolen items is almost impossible. What we can do now is to be constant with reminders to keep safe ones belongings. Visibility and availability of posters containing these reminders would be of great help.

PADERNAL, JULIUS MARTIN COUNCILOR

If resources would suffice, installing CCTV cameras would definitely be an option. 7. If 2012 is really the end of the world, what LAST project will you implement that will impact the CBA Community? The last project that I would implement as a CBA Community would be a socially-relevant event. It can be in the form of reaching out to underprivileged communities, making the elderly happy or any project that would involve genuine random acts of kindness. In this way, the whole CBA Community would make a mark in our society and at least we spent the last year of our lives fulfilled and genuinely happy.
