Message from Director of


I wish to congratulate ISRA on their 1st anniversary. ISRA is an association that I would call a window to different cultures for both Japanese and foreign students. It provides them with an opportunity to learn from their respective cultural and educational backgrounds and get a deeper understanding of foreign world. I would like to express my great appreciation for the activities of ISRA in pursuing the goal of creating a comprehensive network between Japanese and foreign students.

Aims of Organization
ISRA is the first International students and researcher group in the Chiba University. Its established in May 2009 by a group of international graduate students setting up the bases of a new organization. The aims of this organization To bring about closer understanding between countries and people from different fields of study as well as networking people. Make friends and spend a memorable time with friends sharing knowledge. Exchange of general academic knowledge with researchers form other fields. Developing general presentation skills in English / Japanese. Networking Workflow: In periodic meetings we present specialized topics of research to a general audience. Afterwards, we discuss freely about the topic and presentation style.
