THE REAL DEAL SCOOTER CLUB aka The Dealers

SEASON 4 NEWSLETTER ( March 2012)

Hello and welcome to the new look Club Newsletter. What can we say? The Club had a phenomenal year in 2011. Just look at what you guys have done! Our first Rally was a roaring success. We held a great Club Open Day with some very unusual games. What about that ground-breaking Christmas Party that blew the cobwebs off of the usual Scooter dos? Many of us attended Rallies including Modra, Sid James, Thanet, Mersea, IoW. We led another great Carnival and generally had loads of fun together on rides, having breakfast, and misbehaving on nights out dressed as Tigers or wearing daft shirts and grass skirts. You mad lot! Oh and we even sponsored a football strip for Deal Town Rangers U10s. As this newsletter goes to print the nights are just about starting to get lighter with signs that the spring is approaching and our Scooterists minds are naturally turning to the Season ahead. Youve probably guessed already that the Scootering and associated scenes are continuing to thrive in 2012 with even more Rallies and events. This presents a new challenge, what shall I go to? Well, you cant go to everything, the bank balance probably doesnt allow for it, but anyway we all lead busy lives and have our families to think about. We will try and help out by highlighting the main events in this newsletter. What we say is pick and choose what you want to do as little or as much as we each want to do.

Modrapheniacs Sandford Rally

Friday, 23 March to Sunday 25 March 2012

The first major Rally of the Season is set at the Parkdean Holiday Park in Poole, this is one of the best out of season rallies on the calendar. If you havent been before you can be assured of a brilliant weekend. We know many of the club have already signed-up for either a caravan or lodge which is a good thing because this Rally is now FULLY SOLD OUT, an indication of just how good it is. Apart from the accommodation charge you will need to pay for your wristband which is 15 for the weekend and if you arrive on a scooter you will get a goody bag. Some of the club are taking their scooters in vans and some are riding over with other clubs this is a major ride but having your scooter there will be very satisfying especially when you see the number of scooters and the size of the rideout. Oh, and our friends the TOTAL JAM are playing on the Saturday night. We are having club T shirts made up for this so if you havent ordered yours yet, let Simon know.
