A Few Comments from Bib Overall Candidate for Henry County Chairman as a write-in For the Republican Primary

Below are some comments from Mr. Overall. My fellow citizens, I want you all to know that in my administration you will not see this type of underhanded handcuffing of the citizens rights. It is not right destroying all our nation is about just to make themselves more powerful at the expense of the people. Think about this scenario. If you go into court on a charge, you cannot change the laws to suit your problem so you can escape punishment. I call on the people to rise up and let these unscrupulous charlatans know that the law is the law. If there is a set of rules for elected officials, and a separate set of rules for the public then be honest and let them know. Remember, I am Bib Overall and I am running as a write-in candidate in the Republican Primary for Chairman of Henry County. A vote for me is a vote for clean government.

Friends with Newt, The event will begin with a $50 a person "Meet and Greet" with Newt, Callista and Jackie Sue. Followed by an open forum for students and the general public in the University of West Georgia Recreation Center Gym. The "Meet and Greet" will require tickets purchased off campus prior to the event. We will announce ASAP locations to purchase tickets and volunteers who will have tickets available. $50 gets you in; $100 or more gets you souvenirs. Don't Forget the Process of the Ordinance about the County Manager Change

The county according to the printed report in the Henry Herald will change the wording of the Ordinance pertaining to the County Manager so former District 2 Commissioner Fred Auletta may hold the office. This Ordinance was written to protect the citizens of Henry County. Now today the BoC feels it needs to be changed. Now as citizens don't forget the process. The BoC will have to create a resolution and present it to the State Legislature because they must approve it. If you are in disagreement in the way this affair has been handled then get in touch with your State Representative and Senator on this matter. Your voice needs to be heard in this debacle. Rules and laws should not be changed to cover their backsides when they do something wrong.

If anyone thinks this is a good thing and has the support of the folks who will actually pay for it, let me ask you this.... Why not have the vote on the NOVEMBER ballot where there will be a larger turn out of voters? The reason for a July vote? Folks will be on vacation or working, and not really aware of the referendum issue being on the ballot..... These politicians who live off the blood they suck from the taxpayer know exactly what they are doing and are hoping we don't.

Henry County for NEWT 2012

The Santorum Problem

I have long had a problem with politics in the pulpit. Education, principles, Biblical cohesion yes. At First Redeemer Church Santorum yet again gathers at a church (place of specifically Christian protestant beliefs) to pitch his campaign. I know it is nothing new, and we do live in the South. Any good ole boy seeking votes will hit the church circuit.... but he is lowering my expectations as a Commander in Chief of the armed forces or political guru able to twist and turn members of Congress - some of that ain't Christian behavior. Believe me I respect the man's faith. It is the influence of his faith that I must believe prohibits his 100% ability to equally respect all faiths. Every one of our Founders were God fearing men, and they all agreed the United States would not be a theocracy.
Listen up. You may like Santorum. That's fine. But he CANNOT get elected. Indies and women won't vote for him. Period. I mean come on folks! This guy said "contraceptives don't work?" Only hard-core social conservative women will vote for him.

Newt is driving the agenda on gasoline

Newts focus on a bold American energy plan is resonating with voters and has the White House running scared. The White House press office spent yesterday defending $4.00 a gallon gasoline, trying in vain to convince Americans that policies like Newts would not lower the price of oil. SEE STORY HERE.

The Obama administrations record on energy is atrocious. Barack Obama is claiming credit for increased oil production, but HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. Most of the increase is on private land, and the president has done everything he could to demonize the oil industry and prevent new development.

The president has driven up gas prices.

Newt is demonstrating real leadership. Newt is a proven leader who starts national conversations and sets the terms of debate--the White House yesterday announced an agreement with Mexico on increased Gulf drilling, which the administration has been resisting for years.

This is evidence that Newts ability to articulate a conservative case can scare the White House into action and force change, even before hes elected.

Georgia First
Ray McBerry Enterprises, Inc., will launch KBN Television in the Atlanta market, March 5, at 9 p.m., on Charter Cable Channel 22. The channels acronym stands for the Kairos Broadcasting Network.
McBerry said the channel will initially broadcast in Henry County and surrounding areas south of Atlanta, with the potential to reach about 250,000 viewers. The anchor program for KBN Television will be the Georgia First show, hosted by McBerry. The program will consist of political issues and current events, from what McBerry called a traditional, constitutional viewpoint, which focuses on state sovereignty and local selfgovernment.

Tune in Monday, March 5th at 9:00pm to view the inaugural Showcase, filmed at Bench Warmers in Stockbridge. Ray entertained a gathering and interviewed several guests for this premier show. Immediately afterward, at 9:30pm, the first edition of Georgia First will air. NOT Atlanta... NOT Washington... but GEORGIA FIRST!

DeKalb County NAACP urges members to reject transportation tax

Since last year, DeKalb County NAACP President John Evans has told elected officials that he'd help block a 1-cent sales tax to fund new roads and transit if an extension of MARTA rail along I-20 wasn't among the selected projects. The Marietta Declaration

WHEREAS, the Constitution of the United States, in Article I, Section 1, grants all legislative powers to the Congress of the United States; and WHEREAS, Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution vests the executive power in the President of the United States, and Article II, Section 3, grants the President the power to faithfully execute, or carry out, the laws passed by Congress; and WHEREAS, for nearly a century, the Executive Branch has exceeded its authority in numerous ways:

By policymaking through Executive Orders and Signing Statements; By policymaking through numerous departments, agencies, commissions and advisors, in many cases, because of the unconstitutional delegation of legislative authority by Congress to the Executive Branch; And by the abuse of executive authority by the President while acting as commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Georgia Tea Party strongly supports a redefinition of the role of the Executive Branch of the federal government consistent with the principles of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Georgia Tea Party calls upon all candidates for the office of President of the United States to support the constitutional role of the Executive as envisioned by our Founding Fathers, and to swear to uphold the Constitution while in office, and further

To work to abolish federal departments and programs that are not performing responsibilities expressly delegated to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution. In some cases, such responsibilities could be returned to the states for administration of the duties and responsibilities closer to the people, consistent with the 10th Amendment to the Constitution.

To rescind Executive Orders that exceed the executive authority granted to the President in the Constitution and those that run counter to the expressed will of the Congress. To discontinue the use of key Executive Branch personnel, such as so-called czars, unless they are confirmed by the U.S. Senate. To work with Congress to change the unconstitutional process of Executive Branch departmental and agency rulemaking without consent of Congress. To work with Congress to fix the broken system of so-called independent agencies, boards and commissions, which bypass the constitutional protection of separation of powers by establishing their own policies, executing their own policies and adjudicating their own policies, with no constitutional checks on their authority. Power should be returned to Congress, to the states or to various industries and trades. In many cases, these federal bodies are supported by no constitutional provision that would justify their existence. To obtain the consent of Congress when military action is contemplated or begun, either through a declaration of war or through other unmistakable means by which it is made clear that Congress supports or opposes the actions of the President in committing U.S. troops and/or other support by the U.S. Armed Forces.

Georgia Tea Party urges all patriots who support the objectives of this Declaration to indicate their support by signing and promoting this document. Finally, as our forefathers, we appeal to the great Judge of all mankind to hear our prayers and support our righteous cause in pursuit of American Freedom. Taxpayers to lose $14 billion in Obamas union payoff

Obama illegally gave ownership shares to the auto workers union who spent millions to elect Democrats leaving US taxpayers holding the empty bag Obamas agenda is the union agenda. He said it, I believe it, the GM and Chrysler deals prove it. Few are mentioning the theft of assets from the original creditors, the union pension bailout at taxpayer expense or the billions in funds Treasury Secretary Geithner now admits will never get repaid. Obama unconstitutionality took over a private company, overturned decades of surety laws, and paid campaign supporters with confiscated stock.

THE STIMULUS CHART OBAMA DOESNT WANT YOU TO SEE

As more and more people have learned recently, the official unemployment rate doesnt actually count unemployed people who have given up looking for work. The above chart offers another look at the jobs data. It shows the labor force participation rate, which represents the share of working-age Americans who are either employed or unemployed but looking for work. As you can see, only 63.7% of working-age Americans are currently in the workforce. The rate hasnt been that low in almost 29 years! To put it another way, 36.3% of working-age Americans do not have a job and are not even looking. Liberals think they can fabricate jobs by growing the government. What we need is to create jobs by growing the economy.
